Very pleased with my frontal hair restoration. Dr. Boden was both professional and knowledgeable. I had the strip proceedure and the line is barely noticeable, even though I still cut my hair very short.

This facility is top noch from the ambiance to the employees. The office staff are diligent and very much on the ball. I can barely summon the words to adequately illustrate how overwhelming satisfied I was with my recent visit and procedure. Dr. Boden is a consummate professional and decades later he’s still dedicated and passionate about his work. He’s honest and up front about options and costs (which are surprisingly reasonable for this type of elective surgery). I vetted other facilities before I committed to Dr Boden and was immediately sold based on his candor and the fact he does EVERY consult personally. Dr. Boden’s medical team, Marissa and JC, are spectacular as well and a vital part of what makes his star shine so bright. These two hair artisans feverishly worked in tandem to ensure that my procedure went off without a hitch. They are the linchpin that holds it all together. Thank you everyone.

I have to admit, I was a little nervous when I made that first call to set up a consultation with Dr. Boden. I had been thinking about getting a hair transplant for some time and I decided to stop putting it off.

Dr. Boden is indeed a nice guy, his team office was very friendly and wonderful. However, I unfortunately cannot say the same about my FUE hair transplant results. I underwent surgery about 17 months ago and I barely saw any improvement. Only about 30% of the transplanted grafts grew throughout this time. I feel that is was a waste of donor hairs, money, and time after doing so much research. I’m sad to say at this point that I would have been better off going to a surgeon overseas to get my hair transplant done, which I am already planning to do so for my second session in the near future.

I went to see Dr. Boden after meeting with two other well respected, board certified and very well known hair transplant surgeons in NYC. Hair loss is a difficult problem in terms of self esteem and expectations, particularly for a woman. My initial plan was to just go pick a great surgeon and voila my problem would be solved! Unfortunately two of the three surgeons, including Dr. Boden, (who all like to operate) said I was not a great candidate for surgery because of the type of hair loss I have. While I was extremely disappointed and more than a little sad to hear that, I was also grateful that I had decided to seek more than one consultation. I value truth more than anything and if I was disappointed at hearing that news, I would have been devastated after having an expensive procedure that did not give me what I had expected and/or hoped for. Now I see Dr. Boden, take medication (oral and topical), have changed how I treat my hair, how I color my hair, and basically do everything I can to keep what I have until the current treatments in clinical trials become available. I have had one PRP by Dr. Boden which showed some improvement and will have another. None of this is the big change I naively and initially thought I would see when I went to a hair transplant surgeon. Dr. Boden is doing the best for me and my hair. I trust him and know that when newer treatments (now in trials) become available he will tell me about them and either offer them to me or send me to a place that will. I highly recommend him and wish I had seen him much sooner, but I had foolishly thought my problem would be a quick surgical fix. Life is not always that simple. For now I am grateful for every follicle of hair I do have and that it looks healthier than ever! I have Dr. Boden to thank for that.

He’s a hell of a nice guy. His office was wonderful. But the truth is my transplant was barely an improvement. I had the strip surgery. Only a small percentage of the grafts grew. About 20%. A waste of donor hairs, money, time and discomfort. I’m sad to say I would have been better off going to my local plastic surgeon who rents those hair transplant technicians or to NYC for the real deal hair transplant doctors.
