Booked online the day before. Arrived a few minutes early to my 11am appointment, was politely greeted by the bartender/ admin who checked me in. My barber Jermaine met me in the lounge and walked me back to the chair. We discussed the services and style and he worked his magic. He was very professional throughout and engaged me in just the right amount of conversation. He was sincere and explained each step of the process. I definitely felt pampered and it was worth the money spent for all the attention to detail. I chilled in the lounge afterwards with a delicious Manhattan cocktail. A great way to start my weekend! My wife agrees this is the best I’ve looked in a long time.

He combined just the right amount of input from me with his skills and I left feeling refreshed and like a new person! So really this was like having 3 distinct but excellent services. Firstly, Jermaine is probably one of the best barbers I’ve had in my 40-something years. Some other barbers I’ve been to have decent skills but don’t really listen to what you need – other listen but then their execution is sloppy. Jermaine is both – he understands what you’re looking for and then he’s absolutely meticulous in terms of making you look good. Same goes for the beard trim – between the hot towel treatment and Jermaine’s precision, it was an awesome and totally relaxing experience. Lastly, finished up the day with an excellently crafted cocktail and great conversation. As a guy, I’m not really used to pampering myself but I’m definitely looking forward to my next trip there.
