I just moved to the area and was looking for an independently owned barber shop within walking distance. My hair is an easy cut so no need to spend a lot of money. I saw the listing for Scissors specializing in men’s hc’s. I called and they were very nice and able to take me that afternoon. The shop is very neat and clean. It is owned and operated by a man and woman, I assume husband and wife. They were very friendly. Penny cut my hair and did a great job. And it was only $20 (+$5 tip) It was a great find. These are the types of businesses that we need more of.

My go-to haircut spot! Great quality haircuts, friendly staff, quick service, inexpensive, and they’ve always been available for a walk-in appointment every time I’ve went. No matter how wild I let my hair get, I know that the staff at Scissors will do an amazing job (P.S. I have super curly hair and they’ve always handled it really well!)
