I tried to make an appointment but received horrible customer service from the front desk. Her tone and attitude was so off putting that I cancelled the appointment. The stylist lost a potential customer because of her. You need to teach your front desk how to politely speak to customers. Your job is to write down appointments, you shouldn’t sound so irritated to customers.

I had hair extensions put in by another salon. I was in LBI on vacation a few days after original application of my extensions. They were very uncomfortable so i decided i needed to take them out. I called scissor sisters bc they were the only salon in the area that worked with Dreamcatchers. The receptionist was very helpful and they were able to take care of me same day. I met with Sarah who is the extension specialist. Sarah was so sweet, knowledgable and professional. I highly recommended scissor sisters!! Thanks again Sarah for your help

I wanted to try a Ouidad haircut to enhance my curls and improve the shape of my cut. I called Scissor Sisters of Manahawkin for an appointment. Even though the shop is about 30 minutes away, I was told they would not give me a Ouidad appointment without my first coming in for quick consultation. They said I cold stop in anytime. Since I live so far away, and considering the increase in traffic in the summer, I called back at a later date to make an appointment for the consultation and I was told that wasn’t necessary – just make an appointment for a cut. After discussing my first call experience, the person who I spoke to (who identified herself as an owner) made the appointment for the consultation. I happened to be in the area of the shop earlier today and thought I would just stop in for the consultation and make the appointment for the cut, saving me another trip to the area. Unfortunately, the receptionist said no one could do the consultation this morning. I got there about 12:30/1 and she said “we close at 3 and there is no way we can fit you in”. I stressed I only wanted someone to take a quick look to see if I was a candidate for Ouidad (since it is their stated policy they won’t make an appointment for the Ouidad cut without the consultation) and again she said no way.
