Amber is great with kids. My son hates getting a haircut but with her he is silly and laughing and she really makes him and myself feel comfortable. Appointment times are punctual so you’re in and out without waiting.

Been going here for a year now and get my hair cut by Ross. Very friendly guy who knows how to cut hair. He’s also quite efficient. For example, he writes down info, like the # of the buzzer that is used for my sides (and only my sides, he uses scissor for everything else) – so you get in and out quick. But of course still with a good haircut. Also, I just like the way the place looks, very clean and neat, has a 60’s vibe with the big windows.

I’ve been going to Scissorhands for over 30 years and would recommend it highly. Ross also cuts my 2 son’s hair since they were kids, they’re 33 and 21 now. My older son still comes in from Hoboken to get his hair cut by Ross. Everyone in the shop is friendly and professional. Great conversation and a great haircut can’t beat it.

im new to the area and by word of mouth was recommended this shop. im very particular when i get my hair cut, i like it a certain way and have always had someone close to me that would cut it. i got Amber to cut my hair and let me tell you she knows what she is doing. i have a difficult head to cut with bumps and ridges. She did great, even faded it up high just how i like it. She wouldnt let me leave until it was perfect. Great work ethic and conversation. i would highly recommend going to Scissor Hands and having Amber cut your hair, beard or hot shave.

Moved into the Wanamassa area about a year ago. I was living in Earontown for about 12 yrs and had a local barber that was familiar with my cut but wasn’t always dependable. He would call out a lot and his hours where never consistent. When I moved to this area I was excited but also bummed that I would now have to find a new barber. I tried a couple places before Scissorhands and none left any lasting impression. I finally gave Scissorhands a try. I was immediately encouraged by how professional they are over the phone. Very polite and business-like. I sat down with Ross and realized soon thereafter that the experience at this barber shop is more then just a cut. He had me laughing within 30 seconds of settling into my seat. That was 8 months ago and each visit gets better and better. Ross will share some life experiences, funny stories, and his energy is contagious. I walk out of there with not only a perfect haircut but a bit enlightened on current events. If your thinking about trying a new place or just moved into the area then look no further then Ross & Scissorhands. As a business owner myself I take pride in customer service. I want my customers to have an awesome experience with me and it’s something Ross does extremely well.
