I had an excellent experience at Scherdiva Salon! I was looking for a new place for a haircut since my previous salon closed down and Sherdiva will definitely be my new place from now on! The booking process was very easy and well organized, I appreciated being able to book my appointment at my convenience online rather than having to call in. The salon had a great atmosphere and the service was prompt and very friendly! Robert did a great job listening to my needs and made great suggestions based on previous hairstyles that I had. I am looking forward to visiting Scherdiva again soon!

Best hair salon I have ever been to. It’s not easy to find someone to do thr “right” blonde. Robert amazes me every time. Plus with all the blonde my hair always feels healthy. Thank you Robert!

Kristen Ploof at Scherdiva Salon in Essex was amazing. She totally nailed my color and cut and my hair feels a million times healthier than it did when I went in. I have dry, very fine hair so usually after I leave a salon my hair looks and feels great the same day but soon after feels frizzy and dried out, but whatever she did left my hair feeling exceptional for days. You can also tell how much she cares about her clients satisfaction with her work.

I wish I could rate it a 10!! I went to Robert after a friend recommended him and I’m so glad I did!!! He fixed my hair from my previous cut. This is the place you go and never leave! I would drive hours if they ever relocate because no one is ever doing my hair except Robert in the future!!! And yes his scalp massage while washing your hair is so relaxing. Truly more of an experience. He also took the time to show me how he styled my hair and how I could do it at home. I never feel rushed and finally have found a place I feel like I get to really enjoy the whole process. Chris is also a huge sweetheart and I love talking to him while getting my hair done! A+++

Kristin Ploof is a miracle worker! She is extremely knowledgeable. She has an incredible knack for determining which styles will work best for her clients, both in terms of aesthetics and lifestyle. Her combination of patience and skill ensures that your haircut will be PERFECT. Even when I was thrilled with the outcome she continued to “tweak” pieces here and there until the cut was to her high standards. I’ve received countless compliments on my hair and can say that without a doubt it is one of my best haircuts ever. Kristin is absolutely incredible, I cannot recommend her enough!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Robert is simply the best. I brought my daughter in to get a trim and she walked out looking like a movie star. Maybe there’s a little mom-bias there – but seriously, it was SUCH a perfect cut. He took his time to talk to her about what she wanted, and gave her suggestions when she wasn’t sure. She is so very quiet, and often people will give up on talking to her, but he totally brought her out her chatty side. She loved the experience too!

At the recommendation of a friend and my own personal research I went to Scherdiva to have Kristin dye my hair. I had frequently colored my hair at home and decided I wanted to go blonde. A task I wasn’t sure would be possible seeing as my hair is naturally brunette and I had already dyed it quite dark several times and the last few inches of my hair felt crispy. Thanks to Kristin’s complementary consultation we were able to discuss what I hoped for and make it happen shortly thereafter (after kindly quelling my fears and assuring me I could pull off blonde). Do not be swayed by Kristin’s young appearance, she is extremely knowledgeable and was able to lighten my hair wonderfully! She had told me it would take 2-3 visits to achieve the look I was going for and I was extremely impressed by the progress we made the first day. I loved how Kristin worked with me and gave great, honest advice. I can’t wait to go back. Not only did I get great color, I got an amazing haircut as well (while keeping length) and received tons of compliments! The best part of the process was that my hair feels a million times softer even days later. They must have magic in their dye!
