I just recently started going back to Schenden’s Medical Spa after 7-years and discovered the Aesthetician Laura. I have had Melasma for years (*sigh*) and have tried every topical treatment which did not help much. I originally booked a free consultation thinking I needed Laser. Laura was quick to explain why laser was not a good fit for my skin type and recommended the VI Peel Precision Plus in-conjunction with a few other treatmwenets in-between (Telangitron, acid peels, Microdermabrasion, and Dermaplaning). I knew I had a long journey ahead of me to get my best skin back and made the commitment to stick with it. I am only 6-weeks into my journey (2 VI Peel’s, 1 Telangitron treatment, 1 lactic peel, 1 Microdermabrasion, and 2 Dermaplaning sessions) and WOW! Finally I am seeing results and can’t wait to continue my journey with Laura. If it was not for Laura’s knowledge on treatments and her attention to detail when working her magic, I know I would not see the amazing results I am having (I have went to multiple Aesthetician’s prior to finding Laura). Whatever your skin concern, I highly recommend Laura and Schenden’s Medical Spa. Thank you, Laura, for working your magic each appointment!

I had Sarah for my microdermabrasion/chemical peel and she was great! She was very knowledgeable and talked through everything that she was doing and what she thought of my skin. She let me know what her recommendations were on how to treat some acne and help with some spots where I have enlarged pores. She was very gentle with everything and I never felt uncomfortable during the entire appointment. I would definitely go back to see her.

Updating my review, I’ve continued here with Rebecca and Sarah for the last year, each of whom are spectacular professionals. But more directly, there have been many moments where the office, especially Laura, has been gracious and kind despite my mistakes. Came in for facial (acid). I wasn’t sure what type of peel to get, and even considered micro needling. Sonja was patient with me and made recommendations. We ended up doing VI peel, which addressed my most immediate concerns (pores). Sonja did a great job, I will be back to see her.
