My mother has been coming here for years. It use to be called Stylez by Ronda. My daughters wanted their hair braided so my mom suggested I come here and we scheduled an appointment with one of the stylist. The day of the appointment my mom took my daughter to the stylist and she refused to see her because her hair was not washed. I asked if she could wash her hair and she said she doesn’t wash hair and has to reschedule. I needed my daughter hair done that day because we had an event to go to so I ended up taking her back to her previous hair braider later that day to get her hair washed and braided. I will say that I should have asked before scheduling if they wash hair because if I had known they didn’t I would have made sure her hair was washed. After that situation my mother told me Ronda refused to see her anymore, who was again a long time customer. I was not clear on the reason she would not see her anymore but I do know it was after I didn’t reschedule my daughters appointment . A few months later I went to my mothers house and she was very upset saying that Ronda “assaulted” her and “physically pushed” her out the shop in front of other people when she tried to go inside and talk to her about scheduling an appointment. My mother has dementia and Alzheimer’s disease and I can not believe my mother received this type of treatment. If you have a parent or loved one with dementia we know that sometimes they get confused or might not understand what’s happening and become upset. Or sometimes they may repeat themselves or ask the same question again and again. It really makes me upset that my mother in her condition was treated that way. Again my mom was a long time customer and the owner could have easily called me or asked my mom to call me if there was some type of misunderstanding when my mom went inside her shop. However putting her hands on her was just flat out wrong. No excuse for that. It took a lot for me to not go up there and call the police. I think everyone should judge a business for themselves, however I wanted to share our personal experiences with this business and I feel people should know what happened to my mom. I would not recommend this business.

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI had a scheduled appointment with LATISHA, the day before the appointment I sent her serval text messages to confirm appointment location, no reply back, no call, no text. I waited outside the mesquite location just incase maybe something happened to her phone but NOPE, no show. This business is very unprofessional!! Please stay away!
