I really like this place. My hair is always healthy and soft when I leave. They are a bit pricey for the location I will say. Nonetheless, your hair will be thankful. It’s relaxing and pretty quiet in there and they play great music. I think it would also be a good place to work if you are a hairstylist looking for work.

Upon getting back to basics in regards to getting my hair back to a healthy state , I have been unable to find a stylist who actually takes pride and caters to hair care . This lead to a lot of disappointing outcomes and at some point I gave up and was considering traveling to get my hair done. After seeing a young ladies hair at a restaurant I stopped her and she referred me to Carmen . The least bit I can say was my experience was amazing and I have hope that there is actual stylist who actually care about the state of your hair . Carmen is knowledgeable and very professional, I truly am grateful I found this place .

I loved the experience. I had two beautiful ladies to give my hair the luxury natural hair care it needed. My hair came out feeling like a million bucks. They are definitely gentle with the hair. And all the natural hair care they use is absolutely worth the price. For my first time coming in as a walk-in I am coming back. My foot steps won’t be rare. The apple cider scalp treatment was bomb. The hair products,tea bar, silk bonnets, silk pillow cases and the heatless curler is everything. Thank you SBC for the gracious services . The fact that they are still taking precautions with Covid still existing I love it.

I usually don’t go to salons because in my experience they do not listen to the customer. I have been natural for about 10 years and have put alot of time in keeping my hair strong and healthy. I needed my ends cut so in August of this year I started searching for a natural hair salon and came across SBC. I went in and spoke with the person named Carmen and discussed what I wanted done. So taught we were on the same page, but i guess not I told her and her wash person that I washed blow dryer and flat iron at home the day before. And she said she still need to wash my hair, so ok I went with it. I even said to her this won’t cause me any heat damage and she said no. Behold after taking out my braids I have heat damage went to talk with her about this and all she could do is laugh and tell me, “she don’t know what I want her to do”. So if you go to this salon beware

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI’m very disappointed…I scheduled an appointment and on the day of my appointment, I was told I couldn’t get what I wanted which is no heat in my hair, treated, and put into two French braids…I was told that I couldn’t order add-ons(treatments, steam/protein) by itself (shouldn’t that be on the site?)…why advertise healthy hair if it’s not practiced?! …a lot of people don’t want heat in their hair! Besides it’s humid and 80+ degrees outside! Why would I get a blow and go?! That’s wasting money? Terrible etiquette with handling consumer complaints. I had been going to Carmen for nearly a year before she burned me with scalding hot water while sealing the ends of my braids. I didn’t notice how bad it was until I got home, but when I told her about it, she implied I was lying, had her boyfriend call me to back her up and they made false offers to compensate me. When I tried to come to an agreement on the proof they wanted so I can get my refund/medical expenses paid/etc. as offered, she blocked me.

First time client: Tried to patronize this business since it was close by and had claims of specializing in kids hair, only to discover that they’re very UNPROFESSIONAL to say the least. Scheduled to have my daughter’s hair done SEVERAL DAYS IN ADVANCE, only to get a call an hour before her appointment to learn of some mix up with the scheduling. What, you didn’t know your schedule beforehand??? The receptionist never got back with me, after the so called mix up and left, my daughter and I hanging!!! This is why Businesses
