VERY VERY HAPPY WITH MY TRIM AND BLOW DRY BY ROSIE! I went in to the salon not knowing what I wanted and without really saying too much she trimmed and cut my hair how I wanted. Regarding hair: I am very particular about hair color, and look closely for bleed marks from foils, roots that come in too quickly and overall consistency of color. Krissy McNiece has been my colorist for many years, and is now my daughter’s as well. She asks very specific questions about what you are looking for in a color treatment, and then does a beautiful, natural looking job. I allowed my daughter to get light streaks @ 16, rather than have her ruin her hair with boxed color. Krissy knew I wanted a very natural streaked look and that my daughter was looking for a lift for hair that was once blonde but darkened over the years. Krissy satisfied both of us, and we are always happy with her results.

I have been coming to Savoy for the past 20 years. I don’t know all the talented people that work there but Georgia and Norma have always made me feel welcome on arrival. Anne, Wasan, Carla and Jana are the reasons (waxing, color, highlights, keratin & deep conditioning treatments) that I have continued to return over these many years. Bonus to a spa day at Savoy—it’s bookended by Amber Road Cafe and Ruta Raw Juice Bar.

I was not very happy at the service here. I was going to a function and I was wearing a strapless dress. I needed an updo. When I went to the salon, I asked for a catalogue to look through for hair styles. They didn’t have one. So, I looked online for hairstyles that celebs had, but it was really hard to use one because I have really long hair and its hard to put it into a certain style. So the lady(I will leave her unnamed) starts curling my hair and says that I should decide a hair style after she curls. I have to say that she quickly curled my hair. She proposed a style and i told her it looked nice. However, when she got to doing it, it was too tight on my head. So I said I would like a little more volume. She wasn;t too confident and she really didn’t know what she was doing. She kept asking me about little things like should she twist my hair and stuff. I would expect a hairstylist to know what she was doing or even suggest a few hairstyles that I would like. I showed a pic but she was struggling to make that style, and it wasn;t that complicated either. I just told her to do something and my hair didn’t look great. When I went home, I took out all the styling and just left with curls. I was disappointed in my look and that she didn;t add volume to my hair. I REALLY didn;t like the hair stylists there and i would recommend not to get your hair done there. I don’t know about nails, massages, facials and stuff, but hair is a big NO NO!

I love going to Savoy for pedicures and manicures. Lisa is so nice and friendly and does a great job. Everyone seems really professional and nice, I only have been to Lisa.
