The salon is kept in pristine condition and you’re greeted by the sweetest 2 pups Toby and Cooper. Everyone is so friendly but most important the team LISTENS to what your hair goals are and works to figure out a plan to meet these. I came to the salon after not being listened to and feeling like my goal of dimensional brunette was far fetched. Anthony made me absolute hair goals! If a request is unrealistic or if I need “more than a trim”, I know the team will let me know. I am a newer customer after leaving another salon but I have been treated so warmly like I have been a regular for years! Everytime I visit Anthony at SYS, I get excited! The salon is kept in pristine condition and you’re greeted by the sweetest 2 pups Toby and Cooper. Everyone is so friendly but most important the team LISTENS to what your hair goals are and works to figure out a plan to meet these. I have been struggling with finding a new place to get my haircut since I moved to oxford. I have tried numerous people in the area and it always ends in a fail. I decided to give Ali a shot with my hair. I was beyond impressed with the attention to detail she had and just the overall experience I had in her chair. She was very clean and very professional with everything. She listened to my needs and was able to bring my words to life unlike so many people before her. Let’s not forget the amazing hair wash I got as well, I am 31 years old and that was the first time I got to experience my hair washed by someone else and it was mind blowing. I was extremely happy with the end result and was thoroughly pleased with the whole experience and salon. Will definitely be returning. You got a new client for life!

I love this place!!! I drive an hour each way to get my hair done here because it’s so worth it. The prices are great, and the quality of the service plus the friendliness off everyone there it’s a no brainer that this is the best place in the region for hair cuts. The three puppies they have roaming the salon don’t hurt either!

I stopped by here to get a haircut from Alix. It was a very good haircut indeed. Climb the stairs to the second floor and enter a world of excitement and whimsy around every corner. Get your hair washed, cut, coloured, shaved, whatever. It’s all avaliable here. Reasonable prices too. I will be coming back.

I’m a guy with decently long hair, and everytime I go to a barber shop they just can’t seem to cut it the way I wanted. When I came here, Alayna was great in making sure I got the cut I was looking for. The place was very nice and welcoming, plus they have 2 adorable dogs you have to meet. I will be coming back!
