I went here for a haircut once and loved it. Later scheduled an appointment for a root touch up and had to cancel due to an emergency that came up. The next time I tried to reschedule the owner had an attitude because I cancelled even though I apologized. I called back 3-4 times again wanting to schedule another appointment and they kept saying they’re booked. Like really? You have no availability ever no matter how early I book? Lol anyway, the last time I called it kept disconnecting so I called from my friend’s number and they miraculously picked up. When I confronted them about why they have me blocked they said it must be a problem with their line and no one blocked me . Ya never referring anyone. The girl who cut my hair was nice but with this snotty, entitled attitude I won’t be caught dead going here.

I grew up in Bartlett and experienced everything ]from getting my first highlights to getting my hair done for every school dance at Savage. I eventually moved away after college and tried and tried and tried to find anyone who could do my hair like the ladies from Savage, but eventually gave up due to the amount of places that either messed up my hair or had HORRIBLE service. And I’m not even picky when it comes to my hair. I now drive 45 minutes just to get my haircut by Maria and do not plan on changing that anytime soon. It is so worth it. I will never go back here again. The salon manager/owner, Maria, was incredibly rude to me over the phone, saw my name on caller ID and answered “CAN I HELP YOU?”, and their extension stylist Christine, cancelled on me twice, and then when I had to reschedule my appointment due to running 30 minutes late and her not being able to accommodate the full service I had booked, I was told their manager, Maria, now requires a credit card since it seems I always cancel. For being in a customer service industry both could use a class on customer service. I would rather spend my money at a salon that actually cares about their clients, and recognizes the fact if their own stylist cancels on a client (TWICE!), they probably should think twice before telling a customer that they were upset they had to reschedule because the salon missed a 4 hour income opportunity and now require their service to be paid up front because the owner was annoyed. I will say, Christine is incredibly talented with hair, but because of the terrible customer service all around I will NEVER go back. The salon is in Bartlett, IL, for crying out loud, not NYC, and to be honest, isn’t even nice inside.
