Seemingly clean and updated, but service is so-so and quality of even a basic manicure is awful. This the 3rd time I’ve been there. I had high hopes since they appeared clean and modern and had good reviews. However, the experience was not good and the manicure was awful.

This place is very clean! The recent remodel looks nice. (I thought it looked nice before as well) I have been getting pedicures and manicures here for about five years. I usually do about three visits per year. When I have a manicure, I choose shellac. I consistently get a solid two weeks out of them and only soak them off because of nail growth. Otherwise, they still look great. I have had several different techs do the work. I find their prices very reasonable and really enjoy their convenient South Anchorage location. I have gone with groups of up to three and been able to all sit together for pedicures. As a business owner, I completely understand the expenses and headaches of accepting credit cards and checks. Their cash only payment system does not bother me in the least. Just be prepared for it.

Be very careful who does your pedicure or manicures at this nail spa. Most the gals are very gracious do a good job but the man in particular is arrogant and not so good. I would not recommend this place as they need to be educated on how to do pedicures and manicures if they want more business. The place looks clean and inviting but beware.

I was referred to Sassy’s by a fellow Yogi and stopped in to make an appointment for a spa signature pedicure. The staff and customers were friendly and I was greeted and addressed in a timely manner. My appointment was with Chandra, who made me feel welcome and comfortable, went iout of her way to chat with me, and gave me a fabulous pedicure. She suggested a manicure which I accepted as the pedicure was so great. The price for both was reasonable and the overall experience was a treat! I’ll be back.
