Upon entering, the decor resembled a relaxing nail spa but immediately noticed the strong chemical fumes which seemed to be stronger than some of the other nail salons I’d been to. My grandma had gotten some waxing done on her face, which turned out okay for her but some parts of her face felt raw and burned. She thought that the woman had ripped a layer of her skin off. My 4yr old daughter and I dipped our feet into very hot pedicure tubs and when she tried to cool them off, the hose got away from her a little and splashed all over me, which was pretty funny. We all laughed, but later on, having wet capris was a little uncomfortable. The leg and foot rub was soothing and the lotion was real massage therapy lotion that smelled lovely. Next to me, my mom was getting her nails filed with the electric filing machine but the lady wasn’t paying attention and went so deep on one of her nails that it caused her to scream out in pain. Then when she got to her toes, she didn’t clip them very evenly so she had to tell her to clip one of them. Not that big of a deal, as it was an easy fix. All of our nails turned out great, with the exception that there were not enough coats on my mom’s manicure so you could see through to the distal free edge and the nail art on mine was noticeably not symmetrical so she redid the art on the big toes. My daughter who is 8 and I had a night out and went for manicures and pedicures. We had a great experience. Dolly did my daughter’s nails and was so great with her. She almost never let’s me do her nails at home because she is worried about the tools poking her but Dolly was so gentle with her and she was laughing and smiling the whole time. Will definitely go back and our nails look great! Service was fast and friendly all around.
