Critical: Professionalism, QualityI’m new in this neighborhood and I am a man of color and I’ve never felt more uncomfortable somewhere in my life. It seems like this nail salon is only interested in the wives and daughters of business owners. I went in for a pedicure that cost me $50 and was then told after I paid that I couldn’t tip using my card. A woman I’m guessing the manager who just walked back and forth remarked as I left “have cash next time” as If I didn’t pay for the service. I reminded her I’m new here and had I known I couldn’t pay and tip with card I wouldn’t have even bothered sitting down .Every pedicure I’ve ever gotten has left the option for tipping on your card. This practice gives customers the idea that the nail tech don’t get paid unless you tip heavy. It seems like this nail salon is only interested in the wives and daughters of business owners. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI hate leaving bad reviews, but If you’re not an older white woman, do not bother coming to this nail salon. Every time I come here( for over a year now), the owner Ann is just disgusting to me. Dismissive, to the point where you’d think I’m not a paying customer.Just an example- I scheduled a mani pedi today. Every 5 mins, Ann is coming over to the nail tech asking what’s taking so long with my pedicure. To the point where the nail tech rushed and left me with a horrible paint job. Same with my nails. Anne will rush you out of her salon unless you’re an older white woman- To whom she super friendly and accommodating. It’s disgraceful.
