This place is a chill, filled with awesome people kind of salon. I had a very specific vision of how my haircut and color should be. My stylist ‘Carrie’ was a total rockstar, she listened to my ideas and gave me the haircut/color totally how I imagined it. She is superb at her job, her approach to haircut and coloring is completely scientific (nerd alert!), what will look good on you based on your face shape etc. I have found MY stylist :). Also, they don’t give you nasty looks when you present your groupon (unlike other merchants, who are SURPRISED to groupon as if someone else posted groupon on their behalf). They are just happy to have your business. I would highly recommend this place.

I purchased a Groupon for a cut, condition, and style, at what seemed like a great price. When I called to make the appointment, I was surprised that the woman who answered the phone just said, “hi”. I asked if I had reached the Sapphire Salon, to which she replied, “yeah”. I was taken aback by the lack of professionalism, but proceeded to make an appointment as I had already purchased the Groupon. The appointment was set for today at 1:30pm with Carrie. When I arrived at 1:20pm, I was informed that she was running behind. I said I would go run errands and come back, as I understand sometimes this happens. I came back about 40 minutes later, only to be told that she was still with another client and couldn’t cut my hair. No apology, no offer to reschedule for another day- no concern shown at all. I asked if anyone else there could cut my hair and was given a flat, “no”. I contacted Groupon to complain and to request that they cancel the voucher. Be warned Groupon customers…

I felt like I was in my grandmother’s house. I was not thrilled with my haircut. The stylist thinned out my hair in some weird way without even asking me first, and did it way too much. Hair grows, but I won’t be back.
