I called the number listed and was told they preferred appointments, which is perfect for me as I’m a breastfeeding mother and needed to be home quickly. I was given an appointment for 12pm, I get there 5 minutes early and there is no one at the salon, I give it 15 minutes and call and the owner tells me she didn’t know I was there and was on her way. She gets there at 12:25pm, 25 minutes after my appointment and now there’s 2 more customers waiting as well. When she gets to the salon she again tells me she didn’t know I was already waiting, I told her I wouldn’t make an appointment for 12pm and be late, her reply was “that’s how life is these days”. She washes my hair (she detangles with a brush breaking all my hair instead of a comb) and asks me if I want deep conditioner, I said no and she puts it on anyway and tells me she needs to eat and wash a second client before continuing my hair. At this point she officially started my hair at 1pm, an entire hour after my appointment. The whole time she’s drying my hair, she takes like 7 phone calls and stops working on my hair each time. Her son also owns the restaurant next door and he kept popping in asking her for help and she even stopped my hair to go ring someone up at the restaurant because the cashier didn’t know how to use their machine. No apologies or anything. Her blower skills are terrible and she has to flat iron your hair as well and doesn’t let go on the ends so she rips your hair off. In the end she also charged me for the deep conditioner I never asked for and charged me $50 for a regular wash and set. Please stay away!

I went to this salon because their sign says they have experience. During the process I had to remind the stylist several times to not comb my the relaxer through my hair. I was told $80 for everything then by the time I paid another stylist said cien. That’s $100 for a relaxer, deep conditioner, trim and roller set. Just be sure to ask questions and make sure they tell you why the prices are changed. They do good blowouts but aren’t great with other services. I left the salon with less hair than I had before relaxing it. Never again

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Valuei wouldn’t even give this place 1 star, absolutely ridiculous. Netty the owner of the shop convinced me to get a relaxer for my 16 year old daughter who had natural hair past her shoulders. i’ve given her relaxers in the past and not once as her hair ever broken off or experience damage. she sat her under the dryer for over and hour saying “she needs more protein and this will help”. when i said this was enough and i was leaving she insisted on pinning her hair around her head because all of her hair had broken off. $80 for her to take her hair out. i would NEVER recommend Netty or her salon to anyone.i wouldn’t even give this place 1 star, absolutely ridiculous. Did great hair. I get my hair done in north nj and NYC. They are good. Just not fancy or have any extras. Pins, hair wraps ect. Nelly is friendly

I called last minute on a Saturday afternoon to have a weave taken out, my hair washed, deep conditioned, trim, and a blow out. They are miracle workers and that is an understatement. My hair has been in a weave or braids for 2 plus years. She did a phenomenal job. The blow dryer was no too hot and didn’t burn. I love my hair and will be back. As I checked out she give me tips on how to take care of my hair and recommend this oil that I could use. Thank you again.

Very unprofessional. Union arrival to show no one is there. Owner walks in after I do. She puts deep conditioner in hair and tells me she will be right back leaving me in the shop alone. I never been there before either. 40 minutes later she is still gone. I left. The person who experienced this is typing review under my name. Very unprofessional
