I feel bad leaving a negative review because both hairdressers that did my daughters’ hair were very nice. One of my daughters got pink strands framing her face. They turned out wonderful. My other daughter got blue tips. Two days later you could barely see the blue. I spent $100, and it was mostly gone in two days. I dyed her tips myself a few years ago using Kool-Aid, and it lasted months. Save your money if you’re wanting a colorful dye job.

I went in right at their opening time of 9:30am because I was heading out of town. I got Amber. This isn’t my first time with Amber. She is really sweet. Because I was going out of town I choice the extra expense of a wash, cut, and blow dry. I also got a wax on my eye brows. I love 20 minutes away and headed home after to go pack. I didn’t touch my hair because she curled it and I wanted my curls to set. Once I finally ran my finger through my hair I discovered conditioner still in my hair. I then immediately called the salon because this means I would have to go home, wash my hair and reblow dry my hair. I spoke with Sandy. She said I could just come back in and have my hair washed and dried again. I was half way home and needed to get out of town. I suggested that they just reimburse my card for the amount of the wash and dry. She said they don’t offer refunds and I was offered a free wash and blow dry if I came back right then. Then hung up on me. This is no way to do business!

Amber took my boy and I as walk-ins the other day, not to mention it was late in the day. She did a great job and had a great personality. Most shops that aren’t old school barbershops don’t have a very comfortable environment imo. This wasn’t the case yesterday at Sandy’s. Also I’d say we got better hair cuts and service than we would of at one of the big chain style shops.

Sandy is an amazing hairstylist, colorist and a genuine person!! She cares about her clients and loves to make them feel beautiful! She is able to do this by getting to know them, listening and genuinely caring about them and what they want!! Sandy has been doing me and my family’s hair for 20+ years and has always done an exceptional job!! As a single mom there were times that I was not able to afford to have my or my daughters hair done. Sandy on MORE than one occasion, has gone OUT OF HER WAY, to cut the cost for me! I would not go anywhere else! She has been in business for a long time and that speaks to the type of business she runs and the type of person she is! Not just out for the dollar! Enjoys what she does and loves people!! My daughters adore her!♥️♥️

Critical: QualityHaven’t gotten my hair cut in over a year and a half, figured with the reviews I would give this place a try. My hair stylist was very kind, however she REALLY screwed my hair up. I specifically stated I wanted my hair length to just above my shoulders. All around it looked great except the very front of my face she made an extremely sharp chop to chin length. There’s an obvious length of about 4 inches wide where it is at chin length and the rest is shoulder. I’m embarrassed to wear my hair down in public and it will take months to grow back. I came back in to see if it could be fixed and Sandy made some attempts to soften it but i was simply told it couldn’t be fixed until my hair grows back. Another thing, i was constantly berated about my hair quality by the owner, saying that my hair was waxy and stating that my previous hair stylist from a year and a half ago (who I’ve gone to since i was a chilld) had been messing up my hair. Im sorry but my hair stylist back home has never made a mistake this huge and unfixable and has never chopped a difference of 4 inches in length over an extreme chunk of my hair! If this thing lets me post pictures i will. Haven’t gotten my hair cut in over a year and a half, figured with the reviews I would give this place a try. My hair stylist was very kind, however she REALLY screwed my hair up.
