My wife and I were patients of the Dr. for about eleven years prior to her absents due to illness. During that time, she was very professional, truly concerned for our health and well being and never overbooked resulting in practically no waits and prompt attention. We moved during her absents but would love to have her back as our primay card physician.

I took my elderly mother to this primary care practice (Gulf Coast Med Spa / Baldwin Primary Care) off and on for over 5 years. Although she primarily had appointments with 3 different PAs that worked there during those years, she did see Dr. Alexander for a scalp lesion. We never had to wait long, my mother got very good care from the PAs, and a biopsy of the scalp lesion was benign (injury due to repeated scratching). I was not the patient, but as an educated, interested family member, I was very pleased with the care she got at this practice. (By “educated”, I mean I learned about each of my mother’s health issues in depth so I could be an advocate for her – although I’m pretty sure she didn’t care).

She was filling in for my regular Dr while she was on leave in Bay Minette. First thing she wants to start messing with the meds I’m on. Tells me not to drink my couple of beer, warns me it will show up on the blood test she wants me to get{extra trip } . Refuses to fill a refill I call in for – says I have to make an appointment. I was just in 4 weeks earlier. Sorry Dr Sweet(my regular MD) I’m going back to the Dr I left 8yrs ago. Even though its an hour drive each way. One star because that’s the least I can give.

Dr. Alexandra is fantastic. She is honest and straight forward with concerns of your health. Some people don’t know how to take her, but it’s how she gets your attention.

Wait times are terrible, good luck seeing the Dr. And, they do not return phone calls.. Not to mention rude and would not refill a prescription while I was traveling. No compassion.

Nit great for newcomers to the area looking for a GP you can trust. If you’re taking meds that seem questionable to her, your treated like a drug addict looking for drugs.
