I had a pedicure here today by Kelly. I have been to 2 other Franklin spas for pedicures and I have to say Sanctuary was the best. One of the other spas that I went to, the pedicure area was very noisy and the other Franklin spa was OK but not as nice as Sanctuary. The interior of Sanctuary is very appealing, all nicely laid out and the pedicure area was very quiet and peaceful, which is what I’m looking for when I’m relaxing with a pedicure. I will definitely be returning.

Kim did my color and cut and it looks really good! She is a very seasoned stylist. My color is bright red and looks healthy and vibrant. My haircut was very bad and it took somebody that really understood haircutting to fix it. When I was traveling I stopped into a reputable Salon in Florida and got one of the worst haircuts. Not only is Kim very educated but she is so great to work with. Very positive and kind person. I couldn’t be happier!!!

I don’t know where to start with how wonderful this place is. I took my mother there for a day at the spa. My mom is in her late 70s and has Alzheimer’s. The care, attention, and patience they showed her almost brought me to tears. Each person she was with for a treatment was kind and considerate of her special, unique needs. The Swedish massage with Lisa was WONDERFUL, and the full body scrub with the other Lisa was AMAZING. We then had mani/pedis with Kelly and Robin. Robin brought my mom food when she seemed to slow down a bit, and a blanket when she said she was cold. I really just can’t say enough good things about Sanctuary. I just hope everyone goes there because deserve all the good things.

Kelly is FABULOUS!! I had a bad experience with a couple of other nail salons! They never listened to me about what I wanted for my nails and nails popped off left and right before fills. Then I found Kelly… She doesn’t use tips she uses a form and builds the acrylic nail.. Amazing and she is such an artist! I have not lost a nail yet…

Went for a haircut with Cristi, who is absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend her!!! She is a master stylist and also an American Board colorist. So if you are new to the area or looking for a change I suggest you give Sanctuary Salon a call and ask for Cristi. She also has the best personality ever! !!

The guy who did my hair cut it way shorter than I wanted, and then got defensive when I said something. I asked for four inches cut off and he even measured it and showed me where he would cut it to. I probably had about 7-8 inches cut off, which was very upsetting to me since I am getting married and wanted long hair. Also, they double book appointments here, and it seems hectic and unfair to the stylists. I sat around waiting through two separate appointments during my haircut and foil. I have never experienced that before. My highlights/lowlights came out wrong because I sat under the dryer for over 30 minutes! It was much darker than I was looking for, but at that point I was much more upset about the cut. I went somewhere else a few days later to fix the color, and that girl couldn’t believe how awful my haircut was (choppy and uneven) and fixed it for me for free just because she felt so bad!! I was very unhappy with my visit, but Ginger at the front was very helpful and understanding. That is the only reason I gave 2 stars. However, I won’t be going back.

Sanctuary Salon and Spa in Franklin is a poorly run business. I received a gift certificate for my birthday. I booked my appointment 2 weeks ago and the owner came to me and said that massage therapist didn’t know that she had a 9am appointment. They asked me to come back at 10 for my facial and my massage would follow at 11. When I returned at 10am the receptionist told me someone would be right up to get me. At 10:25 no one had come to bring me in for my facial and I was so angry even if they had I wouldn’t have been able to relax. I essentially waited 90 minutes for my services. My day of relaxation was ruined by the owner and the employee unprofessionalism – I do not suggest giving them your business they apparently don’t want it anyways.
