I had seen Sam’s Barbershop for years after moving to Alhambra. A couple of years ago I was looking for a new barbershop after fifteen years at another local barbershop. I decided to give Sam’s a try, it was like I had been here for years. Sam was very welcoming and an experienced barber. A bonus he is also a great conversionalist, which was good for me who likes to talk. I recommend Sam’s Barbershop!

My first time to this shop today, and had my hair cut by Sam. What a super gentleman and a master at his craft! Even though I hadn’t been there before, I was welcomed and treated like I had been a regular for years. I look forward to this being my go-to barber shop from now on and I highly recommend it to anybody looking for a great haircut and pleasant visit.

After visiting another shop that was open I was quoted $30. Called Sam’s & was quoted $20. Still above my limit but I went there. When finished I asked the damages & was told $25. Just the amount I had in my pocket. Hadn’t been there in 12+ yrs. because someone upset me. Hair cut was fine but they still haven’t attended customer relations school. He was going to get the whole $25, when he saw the look on my face he said or whatever you’ve got. I dug 8 quarters more. Wow $27. I”‘ll be back in 15 or 20 yrs. I should live so long.

Sam at the rest of his staff truly are exceptional barbers. It’s pretty rare these days to be able to find that old barber shop feel where everyone is relaxed and talking to each other and just having a good time. There’s a great atmosphere here, which is probably enough to get me to come back even if the haircut I received was just decent.

I’ve been going here for a few months now, and its exactly like you would imagine traditional barbershop being. You come inside and are instantly welcome by everybody and it makes you feel like you are right at home. Mike always does an amazing job, neat and clean every time. I’ve never been disappointed since I started coming, I currently recommend this place to all my friends who live in he area. Make sure to give them a call, it gets busy quick.
