I picked up a lot of gray hair in the past year, so I also wanted to work with Sal because color is his specialty. He used a semi-permanent dye that looks fantastic—very natural—and he’s also helping me restore my somewhat damaged hair to health. I’m very happy with the results, which Sal said will only improve over time. He also has such an obvious passion for what he does, which I greatly admire.One note: Sal is a high-end professional with decades of experience and training, including time studying with some of the great stylists of the U.S. and Europe, and he is offering a luxury rather than budget product. So if you want a cheap, serviceable cut, and you think your hair looks the same no matter who cuts it, you should probably go elsewhere. My husband has been going to Sal’s for years, so I wanted to give him a try. I picked up a lot of gray hair in the past year, so I also wanted to work with Sal because color is his specialty.
