Salt+Sol is the first Salt Room [Halotherapy] in Rockford, Illinois. Our mission is to provide a safe and holistic approach to wellness with, understanding, and empathy. Salt Therapy is an all-natural option for wellness & safe for all ages. All of our Salt Rooms are Active Salt Rooms with beautiful Himalayan Salt decor. Each salt room is equipped with a halogenerator that disperses pharmaceutical grade salt (pure sodium chloride) into the room. Just went for my first time with my sisters and I must say I had the most lovely time! The ambiance was so nice and relaxing. You can tell the place is very well taken care of. And Emma, the technician, was so knowledgable about the process and exhibited such a nice positive energy. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a nice getaway to relax alone or with some friends.

My family was hit pretty bad by the flu bug going around this past week. All of us had 101-103 fevers and just miserable. The aches and pains, congestion, headaches, fever, vomiting and other fun stuff. After we were fever free for 24 hours + we had this lingering congestion and horrible cough that wouldn’t go away. The first impression is everything, right? From the attentiveness to how informative and amazing Rosa and Laura were. I love their hospitality, and you can tell that they love what they do. Absolutely LOVE this gem in Rockford. The Halo Infrared Sauna is my go-to. I leave feeling renewed and my body feels way less tense. They have a great retail shop with lots of cute, original gifts too. Great place to unwind and get the great benefits of salt therapy.

Oh my goodness… I had no idea what this experience would be like, but the word AWESOME, doesn’t seem to do it justice. Me and my girlfriends did a 45 minutes session in the Zen Den, and it was amazing. The set up is extremely beautiful, relaxing, & powerful. The owners are more than informed, and gracious to their guests. When I came out, my sinuses felt very clear, and I just felt very relaxed. The gift shop is full of fun Zen-like and meditative items, Salt Lamps, beautiful jewelry, and other fun stuff for the Mind, Body & Spirit. Totally worth the price, which I did not think was bad at all. This place will for sure be on my rotation list of healthy fun stuff to do when I need a little pampering, or a fun night out with friends. Rosa and Laura are lovely and have to much to offer with Salt & Sol.

My husband and I enjoyed our salt therapy session in the “salt eden” room. The music was so calming it really helped with my anxiety. My husband has COPD and he said his lungs felt better after our session. . We will definitely be doing this again.

I absolutely love the salt room! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Everytime I go and that’s at least twice a week, I have an absolutely wonderful experience.My son and 6 year old grandson love the family salt room. I’m just so happy their there!
