I’ve gotten my hair done here a few times and I’ve always booked with Chloe. She is super talented and makes you feel really comfortable as a client! She’s helped me transition from bright blonde to chocolate brown, and my hair has turned out beautifully after every stage! Salt Strands is amazing! The studio itself is a vibe and the stylists as well as the receptionist are very friendly. I’ve gotten my hair done here a few times and I’ve always booked with Chloe. She is super talented and makes you feel really comfortable as a client! She’s helped me transition from bright blonde to chocolate brown, and my hair has turned out beautifully after every stage! I had some damage to my hair from coloring/bleach before I started seeing Val. I like that the stylists from Salt Strands have the goal of giving the client the look they desire while maintaining the integrity and health of your hair. I drive 2 hours to my hair appointments because I only trust Val and her team of stylists with my hair. It’s an added bonus that Salt Strands is the cutest salon and provides such a fun, laid back experience. No stuck up bougie salon vibes here! I have been going to Val for 2.5 years and always walk away from my hair appointments feeling that I look my best! I had some damage to my hair from coloring/bleach before I started seeing Val. I like that the stylists from Salt Strands have the goal of giving the client the look they desire while maintaining the integrity and health of your hair. Hands down the BEST salon for extensions. Sarah is my go-to girl. She’s such a talented (from extensions to coloring and cut) stylist and really knows her craft. Not only are Salt strands the BEST hair out there, it lasts forever, and you can’t even tell you have them. I can’t speak highly enough about this salon (added bonus: the vibe/design is on point)! Basically Val is a godsend. I have worn extensions for over 10 years and by far Salt Strands is the highest quality. Val pretty much performs magic every time I get in the chair. A few years ago I suffered from an illness that thinned my hair. I felt like I lost my confidence along with my hair. Val and the Salt Strands staff gave me back that confidence time and time again. Val and her team are not only fun and inviting but are the best around. You need to do to them so you can have all your hair dreams come true ✨

The moment you walk in you immediately feel the hospitality and warmth the girls at the salon exude. Chloe always greets with a warm smile, always offering to get you a water or make you a coffee.So they always ask what vibe you’re going for in regards to color and I never know (lol) but I trust Val to go above and beyond and she always has the best input to make you feel at ease. I have no clue what happens at the shampoo bowl but let me tell you, THATS WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS! Chloe gives the best scalp massages ever. Then back at the chair you’re getting your extensions put in, and they’re Val’s personal Salt Strands hairline. I have never had better extensions than these. They dry so quickly and hold any hairstyle for a long time. I can’t rave about them enough. And the fact that they are seamless with my hair color says a lot about the quality of her hairline!Getting my hair done here is my favorite day of the month because it’s like going out with your girlfriends for a few hours, and leaving with gorgeous hair.If you’ve been wanting extensions and don’t know where to start, I highly suggest coming to Salt Strands. Val has created the perfect non- pretentious luxurious environment. Amazing hair is a bonus. I have never loved my color more and my hair has never looked or felt better! Every time I leave I feel immediately confident and my most beautiful. This is what luxury hair should be defined as. I have had some of the most amazing and talented people in the industry cut, color my hair and for that I am so grateful…it also makes me extremely picky about where I choose to go have my hair done. Val the owner of Saltstrands is incredible, she’s cut, colored and done my extensions off and on for years (I lived in Texas for a while so now that I’ve moved back to SoCal of course I raced by to Val). She’s extremely knowledgeable and talented. I love her work ethic and creativity and how she really puts in the time for each client. My hair is very long, very dark and she lifts my color to most beautiful beige blonde you can imagine. She makes my color look effortless and natural. Can’t recommend this salon enough. Suz and Chloe have assisted Val in working on my hair and both are absolutely so sweet, they kept me smiling and laughing the entire time. I have had some of the most amazing and talented people in the industry cut, color my hair and for that I am so grateful…it also makes me extremely picky about where I choose to go have my hair done.
