We are a family run health oriented business that originally started as only massage therapy services. Our owner, Yesenia Osorio, who’s a massage therapist, has always been fascinated with the body and promoting its natural healing powers. After many years of helping people with massage therapy, she came across Salt Therapy and decided to open up the very first Salt Room and Spa in Nebraska. Yese realized that the Salt Room complemented with massage therapy is the perfect combination for her clients seeking a full detox and relaxation system. The facility was nice and clean. I came with a friend and we had the same services. I was charged more than her for the exact same thing. I had paid cash previous to our arrival and the cashier put me on the spot asking about a tip, when I had already been overcharged. I’ve had several deep tissue massages and it has never been painful. The entire massage was painful and it was basically an hour of torture. The masseuse (Kristi) never asked about the amount of pressure, although I was flinching and moving the entire time because of the pain. The woman who did my reflexology was very nice and professional, but I didn’t feel like she used any pressure. I’m not sure if that’s because of the painful massage making it seem like this was very little pressure or if she really needed to apply more pressure. I was embarrassed because my friend was here from out of town and the experience was awful. She specifically asked Kristi to lessen the pressure during her massage and Kristi told her she signed up for a deep tissue and continued to use the same amount of painful pressure. What was supposed to be a fun girls day out was ruined.

We went to salt and spa yesterday and the ladies did an AMAZING job on giving us a massage! My husband and I did the couple massage, and we both almost passed out! We felt like we were in a different body afterwards because of how relaxed we felt! We will definitely be going back in the future!!

Brianna and Anna did absolutely amazing! My fiancé and I went and got a couples massage right before our wedding and it was 100% needed! Would definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a massage location to come here!

We came as a big group for our friends party, we had made the spa aware that we had 2 pregnant ladies months in advance and we did not get the best experience because instead they scheduled us for Swedish massages and they were scrambling to find correct people for the correction. Because of the correction our massages were not a full 60 mins and even counting the 10 mins to get dressed and ready I still only got about a 40 min massage as well as my other friends. I personally was rubbed down by lotion not oil and it was not the best experience. I am very sadden and disappointed that we didn’t get the experience we were expecting based on how much we paid. We paid $700 total and for the amount of money we were not very happy. 3 out of 10 recommend.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityHonestly, I felt as though the website is very deceiving. I was looking for a more luxury experience for a girls weekend and this spa did not deliver that experience. I felt as though the staff was very naive about what an upscale spa experience should be.One employee said “Darn” when an upsale was declined for an additional $11. The waiting area between services was in direct line with the door…. which meant essentially sitting nude with only a robe between services, 20 or 30 ft from the door.While showing after the body scrub/wrap, the employee re-entered the room to clean up.The restroom was not located within the facility, you had to leave, walk through a business common area with windows open to the public/outside on either side of the hallway, in nothing but a robe to use the restroom. There were no slippers available to wear between services. My belongings/clothing were placed in a plastic container that I had to tote around with me between services and hold on my lap in my robe, instead of having a secure locker area.Upon check out, we paid and left, only to be called again in the parking lot and told that the card had not cleared… while holding a receipt that stated approval. We returned inside to rerun the card, only to find out the next day that both attemps at charges cleared our credit card.I’ve visited both high end and everyday institutions such as massage envy. I feel that for the prices, I could have gone literally anywhere else .Typically for the amounts paid/ length of time of services, there would be an offering of a snack or juice. There would be services of slippers or booties for moving between services, instead of barefoot. There should be secure lockers so that you don’t have to tote your belongings with you.Just generally very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and “luxury”. We won’t be returning. Very disappointed. Very Unprofessional.Honestly, I felt as though the website is very deceiving. Can’t remember their names but they were awesome! Checked in frequently to make sure they weren’t applying to much pressure. I even fell asleep I was so relaxed for a few! Would recommend and we will for sure come back!
