The day before I was going to do a four hour adventure race, I developed a head cold, and couldn’t breathe because of all the congestion. I figured I needed all the help I could get and called for an appointment at Salt Remedy. The receptionist was very nice and helpful, and I booked an appointment for that same day. The person at the front desk was very welcoming, showed me where to put my purse and escorted me in to the salt therapy room. I noticed on my way in that there was a separate room that looks like it was designed for kids. It wasn’t sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. The chairs were semi-private, with curtains in between you and your neighbor. I saw some people with tablets, but since the room was dimly lit, the chairs also had reading lights attached to them for those (like me) who like the feel of old fashioned books! Halfway through my session, I noticed I was already starting to breathe more easily. They provide you with plenty of tissues, because you will start draining! By the end of my hour, I hardly had any congestion at all. All in all, very highly recommended!

I would say my experience was about a 2-1/2. When I arrived at Salt Remedy, the receptionist didn’t really welcome me or introduce herself. The salt room is fairly sparse with salt (I’ve been to salt rooms that are actually salt caves). The receptionist opened the salt room door and said and motioned me in. I did ask her to turn up the music which she did. She gave no instructions. I sat in the lounge chair and couldn’t get it to push back into a comfortable position. I had to go out to the lobby and ask for help. She did fix the chair which was in a locked position, & no way for me to know that. When I settled in to relax, the music started to cut in and out. I did that through the entire 45 minutes that I was in the chair. Also, some of the music was “peppy” rather than relaxing. I was determined not to go out to the lobby again & did my best to not focus on the music. I was happy that I used a Groupon, for if I had paid full price, I would have asked for a refund. Would not return.

This place is very therapeutic and can help with many skin disorders, breathing problems and many other health issues. There is a room for children to play in without knowing they are receiving treatment and a room for adults. Heather is very informed and can answer and of your questions. I paid for a couple of sessions and could not go and I had valid reasons why I could not go. I explain to the manager why and I asked for a refund and she said no. I would never recommend anyone there. Heart less person and I would never go back to that place. If I could give zero star I would.
