I went two Hailey twice for my hair, and I was hesitant for a reason, and allow to explain why. I went through several difference hair stylist to find the right one, since mine left the State of California during Covid, so I was left looking again. I looked them up through google, and I saw 5.0 in great reviews, but when I went in for the service, I did not see a 5 star result. First time seeing Hailey, and she right away asked about my hair, and directly was trying to sell me the “love” product. her and Maria were talking about how it’s a miracle product. Allow me to say, if any hair stylist, upon arrival tries to sell you a product, RUN!!!! All they want is money!!! I explained to her what hair had gone through, and Hailey said ” that doesn’t scare me” in a very serious but harsh monotone, and I wasn’t trying to scare her, but just inform her because she was putting product no my hair. I had highlights added to my hair. I didn’t want a cut, so I asked for highlights only. I got charged over $200, and she did end up cutting my hair, which I wasn’t okay with. Months later, I went back in again… and I received a text from Hailey telling me that she was 20 minutes behind schedule, which is fine, I was happy she texted me. But when I got there, I still had to wait another 20-25 minutes to be seen, and she tripled booked, that she forgot that she had even booked me. She was beyond in a rush, she had a concert to go to with her daughter, so she messed up my hair, that the front end, ended up looking like Ronald McDonald!! yes, it was that bad!! Normally, my hair takes 3-4 hours, she took 1.20 minutes. I told her I didn’t want a cut, and she insisted I get layers. At the end, she ended up charging me for a full set of highlights, and a full haircut. I did not get a full set of highlights, nor was it a full haircut. minor layers in the back, in which it looked very chopping and unclean. It felt like she stole from me. Hailey is not only unprofessional, but she is not a master at hair, at all. She will also over charge you for services you did not receive or a job awfully done. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SALON!!!!!

Maria is the absolute best. I have been working with her for 7+ years and have never had a bad haircut. The first time she cut my hair I was somewhat apprehensive – that haircut may have been the very best I had ever had to date. She is creative, extremely personable and the whole team is a joy to be with.

Gail was amazing! I came out here for a mini getaway with family. I need it to cut my hair really bad. My boyfriend had just cut his hair across the street from the salt salón. I did my homework, I read great reviews on this salón. I decided call, I had no appointment but she was nice enough to squeeze me in. She was sweet, gentle and friendly. She showed me a few tricks on how to style my hair. I love my hair cut! she is great! The only sad thing is that she is in Huntington Beach and I live in Glendale!! When I go back to Huntington Beach, I will definitely go back to her. I don’t really write reviews, but i was very happy with their customer service. I definitely recommend this place!

This is the cutest little Salon ever! I came here because my stylist Rachel moved here from another salon nearby and I’m so happy she did. The salon is technically on Main Street but it so removed from all the craziness, it is connected to Jax. So parking is incredibly easy because there’s lot connected! all around you do not have to worry about any Main Street traffic because it is so down It is tiny but so cute and I love the decor. Is all white, even the chairs and the receptionist desk! it looks like a cute little trendy perfect salon. I’ve only met two stylists there but they are so good and pretty much all the best stylists from the previous place moved there. all these girls that came here are the opposite of drama they are so down-to-earth. I actually stayed there for 4 hours conversing and I do not do that. I’m the kind of person to get my stuff done and get out but it’s so friendly, it’s so much like home that I stayed here and talked with them forever!

Salt Hair Lounge is a hidden treasure in down town Huntington Beach. The shop looks beautiful and had a very relaxing vibe. Cerrisa is amazing. I’ve been going to her for the past 8 years and have gone through every color and style imaginable. I’ve never had a bad cut.
