Floating involves lying on your back in an 8’ x 5’ basin with 10 inches of water, of which over 1000 lbs. of Epsom salt has been dissolved. The Epsom salt provides a high buoyancy and the water temperature matches that of the surface of your skin. Combined, these two effects give the sensation that there actually is no water and that you are floating on air. The drastic reduction of gravity, combined the (optional) silent darkness, initiates a reduction in your cortisol (stress hormone) levels and a reduction in bodily inflammation. This deep relaxation unlocks and unburdens your mind while your body heals. I was at this center last week and honestly hated my experience. The young lady who helped me was lovely and knowledgeable, the location is fine, but I deplored the experience. I have sciatica and know floating is not a cure all, but it worsened my pain. I know the salt content of the water, but it left my skin burning for hours, even though I followed all of the directions on the site 100% to avoid issues. I made an initial review, which the owner reached out to me about. In his email, he attempted to rectify the situation, but was honestly very presumptuous and his comments suggested that my experience was so poor because I had done something wrong. Aggravated, I called him and he spoke over me more than once and began to mansplain how he wasn’t being presumptuous in his email. I am the first to admit that I was curt with him against my better judgment, but I only acted that way because I’m so tired of men feeling that they can walk all over us if they don’t like what we have to say. He did issue me a refund for the service, which I appreciate, but I don’t appreciate how he treats those who don’t agree with him.

I really enjoyed my experience here. Everyone was incredibly nice. I was a first time floater and they explained everything and showed me around. The rooms were clean and spacious enough that showering twice and getting dressed, etc. was no issue. Guests are spaced out enough too that you don’t have the sort of hectic – lots of people and confusion – sort of moment. There was delicious tea available after the float. Overall, if you are considering a float experience, I would definitely recommend them!

My first time ever experiencing a salt float and it will definitely not be my last. I went with my boyfriend and we had two separate rooms. He enjoyed the pod while I opted for the larger room with the rain shower head. We both came out super relaxed, dare I say that it was better then a couples massage. It was the ultimate experience to unplug and detach from the world for a few. The music and lights were a nice touch to the experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique date night or just a peaceful moment for yourself. Worth the money!

A sublime experience. A must try for all those overworked from home, glued to screens or have children. The depth of relaxation is hard to describe. The facility was extremely clean. Amazing! I went my first time last week and within 5 minutes I acclimated. When my 60 minutes were up I was NO I want more! I felt so relaxed it was unbelievable. The rest of the day and next day you couldn’t upset me. I was so “zen” it was fantastic. Relieved my pain too. Best sleep in years! Can’t wait to get back. Amazing staff. Friendly, helpful and easy. Highly recommend .
