8/17/22 I’m amending my previous 2-star review to a 4-star review as the manager Kenzie credited me the pricing difference a few days after my daughter’s haircut. I’ve had a good experience with my own haircuts here and I like the salon, but I would not recommend booking with Arabella.

I am so happy that I found Katie Davis! I live in South Austin and make the drive up to Hutto to see her for a refresh every few months and I love my results every single time. Can’t not mention the deep scalp massage/hot towel portion of the service – The eucalyptus scent is my favorite! The salon itself is super cute and I love that you can order drinks and snacks from the shop next door and they bring it right to your station. Always a treat getting my hair done here!

I went in for a trim and ended up getting a shampoo, deep conditioner, scalp massage and a hot towel put on me. Alexis went above and beyond with making me feel comfortable. She did such a great job. Will definitely be back and recommending this gorgeous stylist and salon.

I booked an appointment for my wife at 6:15pm. We arrived at 6pm and Kourtney was ready to do her hair. We specifically asked for a trim about 2-3 inches. My wife repeatedly kept asking if she was gonna eventually cut her hair. She kept saying she was about to cut it but never did. My wife doesn’t speak up much because she gets nervous. She came to the car upset not only because she didn’t get what she came for but she felt as if she was being mistreated and rushed.I went in and asked Kourtney if she had cut my wife’s hair. She responded with a “no because you all only asked for a blowout” even though we told her many times it was also a trim to remove split ends. She told me she could cut her her at that very second and I respectfully declined because my wife wasn’t up for it. I asked for the manager and Kourtney said she was unavailable and was unsure when she would be in. I also asked for the managers number and Kourtney said she did not have the managers number. Very unprofessional in my opinion. To top off the horrible experience we have had here. Kourtney and her co workers were all laughing and happy of the devastation they made on my wife. I sit here in my car writing this with a heavy heart and as of right now (6:47) I see them locking up shop and leaving laughing together. They close at 8pm today January 16th, 2023. It is indeed proven that they were in such a rush to get out of there. Unrealistic. Thank you for the experience and I encourage any and all people to avoid this horrible customer service we were just dealt.

I have dirty blonde hair naturally & I always get highlights. As a blonde & being new to Austin, it’s been hard to find a new stylist & for me, one who is really good at doing blonde hair. But Chelsea R did such an AMAZING job!! I’m in love how it came out! This girl KNOWS what she’s doing and gave me exactly what I wanted!! Love love love. Plus the salon in general was super cute!! Thank you Chelsea and thank you Salt and Waves for being the best!!!

I absolutely LOVE Salt and Waves Salon and I highly recommend Kyle (@ShearAndThere). He’s an awesome stylist and a joy to be around. Seriously, my hair has NEVER looked better! My cut, color, and highlights always look amazing! Everyone at Salt and Waves Salon in Hutto are super nice and the environment is welcoming and relaxing. Plus…I love that I can get a coffee delivered to me, from the coffee shop next door, while I’m getting my hair done.
