I have been coming here for about a year and a half now. i moved to Simi and started “vetting” some of the local spas . Some very very noisy, some very pretentious . We save the best for last , My husband and I walked in last June and Dianna was so gracious she gave us a quick quiet tour of the spa area and gave me a few cards of the estheticians . Now a year & half later I see several people at Salt & Sage. Angela does my hair, Jennifer does my nails and Tracie (also see review for seabreeze window in camarillo) handles skincare /eye lash tinting . Very clean low key salon, all locals and Dianna did a great job planning the spa as you cannot hear the hair /nails side of the salon when in the spa area. The entire spa is very clean. My nails esthetician gives each client their own set of files & scrubbers & toe separators they also use liners in the pedicure tubs and the massage in the chairs work . Rarely are there other people in the other chair so it’s not like a strip mall nail center. Very personalized service; everyone on the staff gets along, covers the front desk , helps each other with clients getting coffee water , so all good vibes here . never feel any stress when i walk in the door . in-fact it all melts away at Salt & Sage “oasis of peace” . Everyone is very professional & friendly . Sometimes in the hair / nails area we have multiple conversations going between hair and nails. It’s like being with friends . I highly recommend this spa

Definitely an accomodating place – last minute massage reservations were made due to flexible staff, though it was odd that we weren’t given options for massages when booking. No paperwork to fill out regarding consent to touch, warnings if risks, etc and there is a salon inside the same facility so you can hear workers and guests from the silent (no music or nature sounds playing) massage rooms. Doors closed at entrance so nail and salon smells were overwhelming. No one wearing masks, we were told we didn’t need to wear masks of we didn’t want to, which would’ve been nice had the staff been masked up. Seemed incredibly basic and relaxed for the high end spa pricing.

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityThis is by far the best place to get anything done. I get my hair done, facials, waxing and nails all through this spa. The atmosphere is fantastic but what really makes me stay are the workers. Every time I go in I have an incredible experience. Everyone is super professional and personable. Salt and Sage is, by far, the best spa experience that you can enjoy in Southern California. The owner, Diana, is gracious and kind, and her staff tends to every little detail to make your visit special. My daughter and I celebrated her birthday with facials by Diana and massages by Blanca. My daughter walked into the quiet room with Diana after her facial and she was glowing. Her skin was beautiful and the small area of discoloration that she had had problems with with was almost invisible. The massages with Blanca were amazing! She is a natural healer with massage therapy and knew the areas to concentrate on instinctively. We concluded the day with a set of lashes for my daughter. Watching Danielle meticulously adding each lash was artistry in motion and the results were beautiful.

Love this place! First of all, it’s like The Tardis… it’s bigger on the inside. It is gorgeous! The treatment rooms are decorated beautifully. I had a massage with Ben. It was the best massage I have had in years. He is very kind and very intuitive. He asked about any issues I was having and worked them out accordingly. I highly recommend Ben and definitely recommend stopping by this hidden gem in Simi!
