Sal’s Barbershop is a collection of awesome barbers that opened it’s first location in Plymouth Meeting on Halloween 2015. Since then they have won numerous awards including Best Barbershop and Best Children’s Haircut for the last 6 years. We have been featured in magazines and newspapers. The first person to greet us (Owner? Manager?) was not very pleasant. No “Hello” or welcome. Just a “Do you have an appointment?” Fortunately we did. It was for our 2 year old’s first official haircut. I made the appointment online, which was very easy. Our barber was excellent! She allowed our son to sit on his mom’s lap while I showed him videos so she could cut his hair. She used all kinds of instruments to cut his hair that were quieter and less sharp so they would not cut him if he jerked. When he was done she offered to take a family picture and gave us a certificate for his 1st “big boy” haircut. We will definitely be back!

We brought our 2 year old son to Sal’s for his first haircut and had an absolutely amazing experience! We saw CJ who not only gave an excellent cut but was just so amazing with our son all around! He was playful and interactive the entire time making it a wonderful experience for all. We will definitely be back!

My oldest has long straight hair, my second has short curly hair, and my youngest has long curly hair. All three cuts by different barbers and all equally great. Even my husband, who’s bald, was able to get a nice clean hot towel shave from Saphia. She was also great with my youngest who was very fidgety and usually HATES getting haircuts. They have a foosball table and great music to keep the kids entertained.This shop is great all across the board especially for young children. First timer and Tyler can cut some hair!! I’ve went to the same barber in Boyertown for yearssss and randomly made appointment here with Tyler Just to give it a try. I will be returning. Give Tyler some props sal also props to safiah for hand picking music so parents with there kids there wouldn’t be offended. Smart and respectful
