MY WORST EXPERIENCE Definitely I won’t return back, I showed him a pic of a haircut that I want it and he said it’s easy then surprised me with a haircut that let me look like a clown and said “finished”, for the beard, I had to repear myself 4 times to get what I want. Eventually he should put a sign for “Cash only” cuz I had to withdraw cash that cost me $3 plus my withdrawal and he told me to leave my phone at the shop till I get the cash for him, they should treat their NEW CUSTOMERS in a better way.

3 times I been at this barber shop, it seems that the man do not understand when you tell what you want he just say ok and then the job is done like the way he wanted not what you ask for, they don’t know how to blend the hair cut, you ask not to touch the top and still get on it, you want the sides and back from 0 to blend on top and you get like #6 to almost the way you got there very disappointed problem is I’m new around SD otherwise I go to another place thanks but no thanks

I’ve been going here for the past year. Even through the lockdown. The barbers are always professional and do a great job. I even have had a shave with them. It was electric shaver and was well done. I hadn’t thought to ask if they did a straight razor shave. Overall I recommend this location.

I used to enjoy going here because I prefer to have my haircut with scissors. I asked my barber to use scissors and even used my hand to gesture scissors. Not sure why he used buzz cutter. I thought it was a trim then he would switch. Nope, I should have said something so that was my fault. I would have been okay but during the cut, he didn’t wet my hair and hair is uneven. I have one spot on left side that was cut way to short and everyone asks me about it. I brought this up to the attendent and instead of offering a solution he tried to explain that my white hair was short. Huh??? There are other barbers I know that will use scissors. Sorry, this was my fourth time here but 1 bad cut out of 4 was one to many.

I have been coming here for years since the haircut place next to Petco moved away. Its cheap and fast. I only get a haircut from the two barbers here. The two Asia older dudes either or. There has been times when it was uneven but at the end they always hand you a mirror to see if you like it. Thats when i get a chance to ask them to do a little more if i am not satified, That only happened once or twice.For the price and nice peple you cant beat it. I been to other places where the shop looks all cool and paid $20 plus tip and in all reality I had way better treatment here at Sal’s for around $8 to $10 bucks cant beat that plus its fast and no long waits and there is plenty of parking. Just saying.

I asked for a simple Combe over and it was noticeable which way I combed it even thought it was slightly long and the lady thought I wanted my long waves. Why? I went for my hair to be cut common sense isn’t that common.

It’s fast and cheap, but they care more than the chain haircut shops. The place is a bit dingy and older, and English is not the first language. That said the haircut was great, there wasn’t a wait and they were very nice.

I came here before and it was good. But this time the Asian lady did my hair. And she left me horrible, I said a trim on the top and she cut it to the point that i can’t do my hair. Thank you for making me look like a clown for my job interview! Never coming back EVER…
