I always have a wonderful time here with my stylist. He does an amazing job with both cut and color. They’re great at calling to confirm your appointment and even let you know if an earlier time slot opens up. Honestly, I was really worried about having to find a salon in salon with expensive prices, but to my surprise the prices were right in my range. (prices vary depending on stylist). Definitely recommend Martavius for your cut and color needs!

This was my first visit since the pandemic began (over a year), and I was impressed by the pleasantly safe environment and concern for clients’ comfort. I have been to a few of the stylists at Salon Ya Ya in Hillsboro Village and they have ALL been fantastic…just because they would rather live in California, I can’t help that! I am now working with Kayla and she is fantastic. She listens, improves every time because I change my mind and is patient and professional and I highly recommend her and this shop. It is low key and feels like family! The salon has the best products and cutting-edge stylists. I always feel welcome and well taken care of when I come into the Hillsboro location.

I have Jenna as my stylist and she is fantastic! I had a horrific haircut several years ago by someone who had no idea how to use a razor. The lady didn’t need to use the razor on my hair anyway, but she really “butchered” my hair. Jenna did such an amazing job getting my hair not back to what it was but better than it was before. She is professional and everyone there is and has been super nice. The color they have put on my hair has been top notch as the previous salon I went to, the color would come off on my pillow case. I love Salon YaYa & would definitely recommend them. In my opinion, they are pricey, but you get what you pay for. I know when I go, I get top notch service and my hair is going to be the best it can be. Love them!!

I’ve been a client at Salon Ya Ya (Hillsboro Village) for over four years now, and I LOVE it! Since my first visit I have grown my hair from chin-length to well past shoulder-length. Keri Lyn has been excellent at helping my hair through this transition. Not only has she kept my hair trimmed, clean, or even a little funky if I needed a change, but she has educated me on products and techniques that will keep my hair healthy between visits. I love that the stylists and receptionist are so friendly, never snooty or pushy. They go out of their way to make each client feel comfortable and at home. I always look forward to my appointments, knowing I’ll receive great service, have a chance to relax, and, of course, leave with my hair looking fabulous! Well priced for the Nashville area. This was my first time at Salon Ya Ya and Jenna was amazing. The haircut was gorgeous to begin with and now it’s been about a month and it’s growing out really well too. Jenna took so much time and care when she was cutting it and styling it, and checked in with me to make sure it was what I wanted. I have a shaved side and had been looking for a stylist who does a great job with queer haircuts, and am so happy to have found Jenna!

Been here 3 times and haircut wise I cannot win with this place (color always comes out great). I asked for an asymmetric haircut on my first visit and it literally came out blunt. It looked like a bob pretty much with one side a tiny bit shorter. I explained when I went back I wanted it more edgy got the same look. No dramatic angle, no dramatic long one side/ short the other etc. This stylists left and I was recommended another stylist. I explained how I was going for an asymmetric cut (which he said he could almost not tell at first I had one) and again that it needed shape and I wanted it to be edgy. He gave me the impression he knew what I wanted and He literally gave me the same cut as the other girl only shorter with a little more texture. I have spent almost $300 each time including tip and have left feeling and looking awful each time. Literally just left not too long ago and have been crying since I left. I always want to give a person a few chances which I did the first time and thought about doing the same for this other stylist but I decided I’m not going to go back again. I could tell he knew I did not like it as well, didn’t do anything to make me feel better.

I found Salon Ya Ya thanks to the Redken site looking for a salon that carried the same color products I’ve been using on my hair for the past 15 years. Tori has been cutting and coloring my hair for the past year (since I moved to Nashville). She’s a fantastic stylist, does a wonderful job with my color (which I’m always changing), and would recommend her or anyone else at the Hillsboro location. (I’m always checking out other client’s hair in the mirror during my appointments and everyone always looks great!)
