I was taken as a walk-in to get a cut and to have my hair dyed. The price was very fair, and I am very happy with my hair. The staff was very experienced and made me feel right at home when they offered me a coffee or a can of soda. The salon offers a wide range of products to take home – they have a huge section for you to shop in. They also carry many beautiful colors of OPI nail polish.

My bridal party and my mom got our hair done at Salon West the morning of my wedding. I only booked about 2 weeks before, but they were so friendly and helpful and treated that like no big deal (I was sure I’d never find a place at that late notice that could take all 7 of us).

I try to support local, non-chain, businesses so I decided to give Salon West a try. I scheduled a mens haircut with stephanie at 11:45. I showed up on time and walked out the door at 11:53. The cost was $25 excluding a tip. I was skeptical at the quality of the cut given that she was done in 8 minutes. I was faced opposite of the mirror for the whole cut so I could not see what she was doing. I hate to say this but its the most embarrassing haircut that I’ve ever paid for. And that is coming from a military veteran who’s gotten a lot of $5 haircuts. My impression was that I was just another quick $25 paycheck. The picture does not do this haircut justice. Hopefully this was just a one time occurrence that I was the unfortunate benefactor of. Salon West – please don’t take your patrons for granted!
