Salon West – My heart is full reflecting on how amazing my experience was at Salon West for our wedding hair and makeup. The staff was so welcoming and inviting when we all arrived. They let us bring in food and drinks and made the morning go so smoothly. I have been in weddings where hair and makeup take way longer than expected, but the entire staff was dedicated to my bridal party and I truly felt as if they cared about each of my girls.

I’ve been a client of Salon West (formally named Classic Dimensions) for over 40 years and continue to enjoy having my hair cut there even after moving 100 miles from De Pere. It is a very comfortable and welcoming place. I feel like I’m going home. Michelle has been my stylist and she is terrific. I’m never sure when I will be in town so I’m unable to make appointments in advance. They work with me to find an appointment every time. If Michelle is booked I feel comfortable with any of the stylists. They are all talented and friendly.

Have had 2 appointments with Hannah and have a 3rd appointment scheduled. Was looking for a more “homey” salon and wanted something new for a hair cut. I believe I’ve found my new salon home. Hannah is great – she asked questions and listened to what I shared about how much time I want to spend on my hair. She gave me a very cute, easy style that fits me perfectly.

My hair got cut a good 5 inches shorter than what I asked for & before you say “well why didn’t you say anything?” she started cutting my hair in the back so I couldn’t see how short she went & by the time she got to the front I couldn’t tell her to stop or it would be uneven. I am still very sad about it considering she talked so highly of her ability to cut my hair.

Beyond dissatisfied! Horrible first impression! Very unprofessional and chaotic, I’d give zero stars if it would have allowed me to post. I was going to be a new client for a haircut and color, my appt was @ 3:30, someone acknowledged me when I arrived, told me who my stylist was going to be, and that was it…I sat waiting for a half hour, having several stylists look at me many times, but never saying a word, also, stylists had the time to go outside to pet a dog, still no one said anything to me, remember, this is my first time at Salon West, finally after sitting & wondering what the hell was going on, some one asked if I was checked in yet, I said I was supposed to be, then she came towards me with new client paperwork! Are you kidding me? I sat for a half hour, I could have had the paperwork filled out in that time. I opted not to stay. The least they could have done was to have my stylist (Katie) come out to introduce herself and hand me the paperwork, even if she was with a client, take 2 minutes to walk away, explain she’s running behind or whatever was happening. What a terrible way to treat people and try to run a business, I’ll give my $300.00 to some place that deserves it!
