I went here for prom makeup. First off, on the website, the price for makeup was $55. I call, and they tell me it’s $65 for the most basic service (no airbrush or lashes). I go there and upon check out I’m told my total is $75. Besides that inconsistency, the lady who did my makeup did a subpar job. She did not fill in my eyebrows (I had to ask), did not use setting spray, or contour my face. Not to mention the process was very rushed and she used her hands to blend out my foundation/concealer (and it wasn’t evenly blended and had minimal coverage). It just seemed very incomplete and unprofessional, but I guess makeup isn’t their specialty as it is a hair salon. Nonetheless, if I’m paying $75 I’d at least expect a nice job that reflects the price. It was a look that me, a high school student, could have very easily mimicked. Very disappointing for my prom day; I had to fix these shortcomings myself. Unfortunately would not come back.

I have had several services done at Salon Valbona and have always left a very happy customer! Jessica – the makeup artist has been doing my makeup for years- my prom, wedding, and various other events and occasions throughout my life. She always listens, is professional and does an excellent job! Most recently i had balayage and a cut done by Tara and i have received a number of compliments! They have also done numerous updos for me and have always come out as planned! The team at Salon Valbona is friendly and does not disappoint!
