I went to Salon VIP for my wedding hair and make up. My bridesmaids and our mothers went there as well. All the stylists did a fantastic job! I have been going here recently and see they have steady flow of customers both young and older. A great deal of their business seems to be senior citizens who live in the area. They charge a good deal for their services and I’m so disgusted that they will charge an extra dollar or 2 if you pay by credit or debit card. I understand they are charged for using them however for what they charge for a cut, blow dry, manicure, etc they should not charge the customer. I won’t be going back.

I have been Christine’s client for many years and she always does a beautiful job on my hair. I always get compliments when she colors and cuts my hair. V.I.P. personnel are very friendly and accomodating. I’ve gone to many salons over the years when I lived in Edison, V.I.P. is my favorite.

This salon does not work professionally in any sense- they treated me horribly. I’ve been been seeing Tabatha for keratin and after one week and $400, the product is nonexistent in my hair. When I called to schedule an appointment for them to look at it again, I had to reschedule due to a family emergency with my mom but told me I had to put in a 50% deposit and they didn’t care. The owner hung up on me and when I called back the daughter told me that and how they do things there at their salon without informing their clients about rescheduling policies and charging whenever they want. The owner actually said she’s doesn’t care and that it doesn’t matter if i did not have a job and can find a way to cover. They were so rude and disgusting in the way they spoke and would never recommend anyone to go.
