It was my birthday when I walked in just to get a blow out. Simple. I checked in and the receptionist already had a negative attitude. Meanwhile the whole time I’m checking in the foreign hair stylist is standing there with her hand held out waiting for the receptionist to hand her my ticket. It was extremely unprofessional and I felt rushed even though they weren’t busy at all. Then as the hair stylist is blowing out my hair I requested that she round the ends of my hair with the round brush. She finished and didn’t do what I asked. She told me my hair is too dry to round the ends…mind you every blowout I’ve ever gotten they’ve done this for me and I do it on myself. If she didn’t know how to do that she could’ve just said so instead of making it look like my HAIR is the issue. FINALLY I’m checking out and I hand the receptionist a $100 bill. The receptionist says “I don’t have the change to break that. Do you have a credit card?” I told her “what if I didn’t have a card on me and that’s all I got?” What hair salon doesn’t have change for $100? She then states she’d have to go in the back and get some change… point made she was just lazy and didn’t want to do her job. All in all it was a horrible start to my birthday. I wanted something as simple as a blowout and I had a problem from the second I walked in. The staff is lazy, unprofessional, inconvenient and not up to date on classes they should be taking with changing trends. I understand this is a pattern in franchises but I won’t be returning.
