I wanted a natural curly hair up-do, but I hadn’t been able to find anyone who would style my hair the way I wanted until Salon Topaz. Monica worked with me to find the perfect style for my face shape and dress. On the day of my actual wedding she worked with my crazy schedule and styled my hair beautifully without making it crunchy or stiff. My hair lasted ALL DAY with no frizz and not a single curl out of place! I have gotten every single haircut and trim with Monica since. If you have curly hair you should definitely check Salon Topaz out!

I had a wonderful experience at Salon Topaz. It was my 1st time there & everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Jenny was absolutely amazing!! She took the time to talk to me about what I wanted my hair to look like and was completely honest about what could & couldn’t be done based on my hair type. I’ve never been to a salon where the stylist took so much time to actually listen and consult. She was very thorough with everything she did. She even had 3 timers set for the different sections of coloring in my hair. She also checked the color every few minutes to make sure it was turning our right. Even the assistant was excellent. I’ve been to salons that have ripped the foils out of my hair (along with most of my already thin hair). Caitlin (or maybe Kaitlyn) was super gentle when removing the foils. She did a wonderful job washing out the color and shampooing to make it enjoyable (and not painful like other salons). I don’t treat myself often, but I’m glad I did. The salon itself is very nice & clean. I highly recommend you make an appt.

I’ve been going to Jenny for a little less than a year for color and cut. The first appointment was a consultation where we discussed my concerns and goals. She was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. In just a short time she is helping me achieve my hair goals while keeping my hair healthy and full of life. The salon is located in an adorable space in Dobbs Ferry. It’s always spotless and the staff is very friendly. I’m thrilled I no longer have to travel to the city for great service!

Amazing salon! After my long time (15 yrs) NYC stylist left the city, it took me a couple of years to find a stylist I liked in Westchester. Monica is the best, knows exactly how to cut my hair without me giving specific instructions (I’m a low maintenance gal!) and has given me great styling/maintenance recommendations in between cuts. Highly recommend!
