Salon Tomai is owned and operated by Toni Maiatico, a hair professional with over 10 years experience in the salon industry. She has provided hair services to many clients in the Southern New Jersey area, and now in her own space can continue to deliver superior experiences to old and new clients alike. Toni’s grandfather, Tony Maiatico was a creative soul and would sign his paintings ‘Tomai’. In the effort to preserve his unique brand and trademark, Toni started her salon in 2016 and has decided to carry on the creative tradition with Salon Tomai, in name and practice.

I’ve been going to Brittany since I was a teenager, she has saved my hair too many times to count and today she did it again without me even knowing it needed saving. The before and after pictures should speak for themselves, but you simply don’t know what you’re missing until you let her get her hands on your hair for the first time. I’d literally follow her anywhere, but today I got to visit her at Salon Tomai. The salon has the best atmosphere and along with Britt, the stylists are all so friendly and welcoming!

The before and after speaks for itself! Kristen is a miracle worker . I was not expecting my to turn out as perfect as it did . It’s so hard to find a great stylist and I’m so happy to have found Kristen . I have had long black hair for years and my hair would never lighten the way I liked with other stylists . Not the case at Salon Tomai! I can’t wait for my next appointment!

I am very VERY picky when people cut my hair after someone messed my hair up long time ago. I had Ashley she was a sweet heart and made me feel comfortable. I gave her freedom for my haircut and style. I also did a scalp exfoliation treatment you must get the treatment so relaxing. I told her what I liked and she went and rocked it. I have an appointment to go back for the color she suggested I can’t wait I’m excited. Monday was my first time going to this salon. I am very VERY picky when people cut my hair after someone messed my hair up long time ago. This was my first trip to this salon and was not disappointed. I came in for a “beach wave” perm. Deb made sure to explain the process, potential outcomes, and made sure I was 110% making the right decision. I appreciate that she also genuinely cared about the outcome and wanted me to be happy with the results. The process was fast, easy, comfortable and affordable. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend!
