I have very curly hair and Yuki is the absolute best, hands down. I have had two hairdressers in my life who can cut my curly hair and she is one of the two. This is the happiest and most beautiful my hair has looked in years and the haircut is just fabulous. She is extremely good at what she does, professional and also very fun and approachable . I feel SO lucky I found Yuki for my hair a few weeks ago. I was in town just for a production of a play I wrote that was happening at Northwestern and looking for a blowout. I chose Salon Texture because it was nearby and feel so lucky I went there! Not only did Yuki give me an amazing blowout, but she basically gave me a full consultation on how to help my very damaged hair grow long and be healthier. I ordered the products she recommended and it’s already looking SO much better. I’m blown away. She also gave me a free trim at the ends to help it grow, which was so generous. On top of all that, she’s kind and funny and a joy to talk to. Highly recommend for whatever you need!!

I had a great haircut experience with Yuki at Salon Texture. I went in with very long, thick hair that hadn’t been cut in months and asked for a mullet – Yuki knew how to achieve the look and gave me an expert cut. On top of that, she clearly knows her stuff when it comes to hair care. She shared lots of great tips for maintaining healthy hair which I will be using going forward.

She was incredibly thorough and took her time on my hair both during the cut and while styling it.
