If you’re looking for a fantastic colorist and stylist, ask for Janeen! I was highlighting my own hair over the pandemic (not good) and needed someone to fix all the mistakes from at-home bleaching. I am SO thrilled with the results and the price was pretty much unbeatable. She completely evened/toned my blonde and was just an overall lovely human to chat with during the process.

I live in Arkansas and came to Emerald Isle to our beach house for a few weeks. I was in desperate need of a cut and color! I found Salon Techniques by googling the closest salon. I made an Appointment with Susan. She was friendly and We had great conversation! When she was finished with my hair it look amazing! Defiantly one of the best cuts and color I have had. Although I had fear of going to someone new not to mention someone from out of town with no recommendation I would give this a 10 out of 10! For locals and out of towners I would highly recommend Susan at Salon Techniques she is the owner/stylist! Thanks Susan!!

What a great find! We were on vacation and I really needed a haircut. This place had good reviews so I thought I’d give it a try. Susan was wonderful. She squeezed me in with a days notice and gave me exactly the look I wanted. As an added bonus, my daughter got a walk-in appointment when she came with me, and she got a great cut as well. Susan and her staff are nice, accommodating, and charge reasonable prices. I’ll definitely return to this place when I visit the area.

I went to get a haircut while on vacation. I came upon Salon Techniques with a simple Google search. Susan did a great job with my haircut and styled it beautifully. She is very sweet and attentive to my wants and needs. Definitely recommend!

This may be a little biased (Susan is my mother) but I recently had a Keratin treatment done on my hair and it was absolutely life changing!!! 23 years of extremely curly hair and I’ve never been able to have a “natural” style. I have always used a variety of products and heat tools to achieve the style I desired, whether curly or straight. In recent years, I have straightened my hair with every wash and it lasts 4-5 days. With the Keratin treatment, I am able to hop out of the shower – and without any heat tools – have straight, healthy hair every single day. I cannot wait for the summer months to take advantage of this awesome service provided by Salon Techniques! Outside of the Keratin treatment, Susan has always been a master of keeping my temporary color shade of red consistent and has provided the best advice for healthy hair care – couldn’t ask for better!
