Michelle did my hair color last night and she did such an amazing job! She communicated with me throughout the whole process, from making the appointment to the finish and giving me advice on hair care. She was so so sweet and patient as I have a lot of hair and it took more time than both of us initially thought. Sometimes going to the salon can feel overwhelming, but I showed Kat some photos of the hair I wanted and she just made everything so peaceful and stress-free! The times I have gone they’ve done my hair no problem. I guess it depends on who you see because this visit they didn’t listen to what I wanted. I had my hair up to my butt and only wanted 3 inches cut off and they cut off a whole 6 inches! They asked me if that was okay but what was the point? They had already cut it off already? What was I to do? This is why I avoid getting a hair cut as much as possible.

My favorite hair dresser and close friend Lori Garcia works wonders and magic here, if there’s someone to go for color magic and a trustworthy hair cut it’s this Wonder Woman! Also, she’s a fantastic therapist lol! My hair therapist she’s amazing and listens to your ideas and brings them to life, she’s worth it! I’d never change the person who does my hair! Here’s a before and after when I told her I wanted to go back to the dark side!

First time hair appointment with Kat. I showed her a photo of the hair cut and color I wanted. After she was finished, my hair do looked just like the photo. I was so pleased and happy! Critical: Quality, ValueI saw Alex at Salon Technique. She did a full highlight and a trim, but she didn’t tone my roots correctly and I was left with a very very dark ring around the top of my head. She also didn’t highlight anywhere around my face and the highlights were a very yellow color. This place isn’t cheap and when I texted her the next day to ask if she could fix my roots, she said come back in a month. I ended up going to another salon the next week to have my color fixed and she agreed the highlights were way too thin, leaving a streaky look, and she hadn’t toned the hair correctly. The staff at the salon were very welcoming, and I enjoyed drinking a cup of coffee before my cut. This was my first time with Kat, but she was great! I love what she did with my hair. She’s great with short cuts! The parking can be a little tricky in downtown Fullerton, so my only warning is give yourself an extra few minutes to find a spot.
