Karin is the best! She squeezed me in after I had a big mistake done to my hair at another salon and fixed it perfectly! I went in saying I’m not sure what I want, but it’s just not this, showed her my Pinterest page of things I like (no real direction there) and she said, “I think I know what you want”. BAM! My mom, 2 sisters, and I have been going to Karen since she was working in a salon where the CVS in downtown Northville is now, back in 2006. She has moved 2 times since then, once to a salon further down Main Street, and then to Salon Synergy, which she owns. Karen is honestly the best hairdresser I have ever had, and I can always trust her with my hair. She knows how hair works–how you have to go with how your hair naturally falls and how to advise with hairstyles that may be too much work for what you really want every day (I liked a cute pixie cut, but she reminded me that since she knows I don’t ever do much to my hair, it might be too much to style it like I want). I tell people jokingly that she works her “hair magic” because she is really just that good. None of my family members have been disappointed going to her. She really listens to you, whether you are talking about how you want your hair done or what’s happening in your life. If she ever leaves (or I move too far away), I’ll be hard-pressed to find a stylist as fantastic as her.
