Laura is a miracle worker. I loved my first appointment so much three years ago my mom and two sisters also switched stylists to now come see her. Without fail she nails it every time. Laura understands every person has different texture and at home style time/ability and works to make sure your haircut and color is manageable and beautiful for YOU. Selfishly I don’t want to recommend her anymore because it’s harder to get an appointment, but you’re missing out if you haven’t booked with her yet.

Sam @ Salon SLS is the only stylist I trust for myself and my family’s cuts and colors. I have been seeing Sam for several years and she is a magician. Standard color w grey coverage (including a birthmark I could never properly cover), cuts, and fashion color; Sam is the best. The salon is so cute and fun. It’s always a nice time and relaxing.

Sam is the absolute best. I have a lot of gray hair and it’s very frizzy. She is able to cut in a way that helps to enhance the best shape and waves of my hair. She’s also great with color and has given me some beautiful natural looking highlights that get a lot of compliments and help me hide my grays. I started going to Sam last year, and I absolutely love the work that she does. She always takes her time with my hair even though it’s quite thick and time consuming. It’s very clear that she cares about not only making the final result look good, but also keeping my natural hair healthy. Plus she’s a good conversationalist. Love this salon! Laura is a 10/10 on cut and color and so gifted at figuring out exactly what you want. I don’t even live in Virginia anymore and I still wait to get my hair done until I come back to visit family because I don’t trust anyone else to do my hair. She does the best job cutting my husband’s hair too. Honestly I can’t rave about her enough!!
