My stylist Justine at Salon Serenity Spa is so knowledgeable and confident in doing hair. She tells me what she thinks would be best and I know she has my best interest in mind when helping me to decide what to do for my hair. I feel so beautiful every time I leave her chair. Despite an unassuming exterior, this place is the total package when it comes to ambience and amenities. I enjoyed my first session there on Wednesday, where Justine styled, highlighted, and colored my hair a gorgeous shade of blue. It was a process that took hours, and it was one of the more pleasant salon sessions I’ve ever had. While not being overly fussy, it (and she) made me feel special, and Justine made me feel gorgeous. Or at least like I have gorgeous hair. I shared with her my one pet peeve (smooth hair; have spent my whole life longing for texture), and she saw me out with a gentle wave that looked fantastic.

This salon was great! When I walked through the front door I was greeted with a smile by the secretary.I felt very welcome as a client.Justine styled my hair and did my makeup for a event that day. She was so laid back and easy to talk to.Justine did a great job on my hair. Not only did Justine do exactly what I wanted with my hairstyle she did an amazing job with my makeup.She is a great makeup artist.I don’t wear makeup too often but she explained to me in detail how to apply the makeup to bring out my facial features. Not only did she do a fantastic job but she showed me a few makeup tips that makes it easier and quicker to apply.I was very impressed with this salon from start to finish.

This is Wake Forest’s best kept secret, what a gem. Unassuming from the outside, but the moment you walk in, it’s a proper oasis. The vibe, scent, lighting and decor is that of an upscale salon. I came here to get my hair done by Justine (AMAZING hair artist and an expert in blonding and toning), but after my experience I’m considering coming back for other salon and spa services. The atmosphere was relaxing, the staff I met were kind and helpful. 10/10

Just finished my spa day at Salon Serenity Spa and feeling renewed and refreshed. My favorite spa with so many different treatments to choose from. One of the few spas that offers Vichy Shower treatments. If you haven’t had one, would highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back!

Justine was absolutely wonderful for my makeup lesson!!! I just wanted to refresh my everyday look and learn to use lashes. She did an amazing step by step instruction for a look that I can recreate at home. The Belvia products were available in store and the the lip color “Bachelorette” is to die for!! fantastic experience.

Since it won’t let me reply to your response I will clarify. I booked my appointment over two weeks ago. If you double booked others, fine. I felt the color was left on too long as I time it, the receptionist rinsing me with first burning then freezing water repeatedly versus checking the water was over the top, not to mention her poking me in each eye wearing her coat, soaking my shirt, then left to sit to get my actual hair cut while it dripped down my neck. Add to that the cut is NOT good. The two long wisps on either side that are supposed to frame my face end at my CHEEKbones. Not framing at all which looks horrible. The color is off. And I was overcharged. I was told 90 for the root touch up and 50 for the hair. I was charged 100 for the color and it has a tint of red versus my normal blonde which I am pretty upset about. So, no I don’t think regardless of how you try to respond to make this sound ok or due to COVID like I am just impatient, that this was in any way a good or relaxing visit for 170.00 including tip, which is below what I normally would. I should have walked out halfway through. So yes, I am upset and I feel that it was a horrible experience. And now, luckily my hair grows fast, I have to figure out how to fix the color.

I have no idea how the actual services are because I never got to have them. Had a scheduled massage at 10am on a Tues, which I showed up for. When I went to check in for the massage, I was informed my masseuse was not at work that day and they needed to reschedule. I did not get a phone call, text message or any other notification of my appointment being cancelled. However, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Since that was their opening time, they had probably only just found out about the masseuse not being there. So then I was rescheduled with a different masseuse for the next day. A few hours later, I get a call saying there weren’t any available appointments the next day and it should have never been scheduled, so they had to cancel that appointment as well. I was then offered an appointment for sometime on Friday. At that point, I decided to find another place to take my business. This was very unorganized and annoying for something that was suppose to be relaxing and all they could do was say sorry.
