Beyond disappointing at my experience with this salon. While they are a great group of people personality wise they are not good at coloring. I’ve given this place multiple chances with multiple different stylists and every single one of them can’t figure it out. Every time I went they would never get my hair right I would come back they would attempt to make it better but it still wasn’t what I wanted. For over $300 a pop I should’ve just left after the first time but I like them. After my last experience there and them doing my hair they told me they would not fix it again or give me a refund and wished me luck with a different salon. If you need your haircut or a few basic highlights I’m sure they’ll do great but if you need any kind of color done well do not go here. Below I have posted pictures of what my hair looks like and what I wanted from my previous stylist in a different state the next picture is of what they did with multiple orange patches throughout my hair and the last picture is what it looked like after they tried to fix it and put a toner on it that made it muted and ashy.

I was met with exceptional customer service from the moment I walk through the doors to the very end of my appointment. Bailey did an amazing job with my hair makeover. Every detail from color to cut was exactly what this momma needed. Not only that but the atmosphere of the salon made it solidified that this is the place that I can now say is my “salon home.” Thank you for making the decision easy and getting every detail right from booking my appointment (same week appointment), to the friendly reminders, to warm greeting and light hearted atmosphere where you treat everyone like a person. And can’t thank Bailey enough for my beautiful hair and amazing conversation. She deserve more accolades than I can put into words. I can’t recommend them enough.

Love Salon Sage. The salon is beautiful and the staff are amazing. Diel listened and did exactly what I wanted her to. I have really long hair and wanted layers without losing too much length. She is very pleasant to talk with and did an incredible job. They also have great products. Allison is the owner and she makes you feel like you are a VIP client every time.

Great place. I have lived in Charleston for 17 years. It has taken me 7 to find the right salon and this place is it. Ashley listened, gave an expert opinion, and did an AMAZING job. I am so happy. The space is comfortable and well done but not overwhelming like so many places here. Also important to note that the other stylists were super accommodating and friendly. Amazing salon. I wish I knew the name of the girl who got my hair. I’m mad at myself for not getting it to put in this review. I was very comfortable, very friendly atmosphere, and being a transgender woman, most importantly LGBT friendly. There is a dog in the salon, named turbo, and it is the cutest Boston terrier I have ever seen. While you’re at the salon, get one of their beers with the Boston terrier on it, which is just a nice touch. The owner of the salon has clearly put effort and thought into every detail. The employees are clearly happy, the salon staff are well educated and I believe the salon would be perfect for anyone.
