Marissa is nothing short of amazing in her talents! Found her randomly on a Google search and have not looked back. Finally decided that I wanted to lock my hair after all these years and she has made the transition easy. She has calmed my nerves and turned them into joy with my hair looking amazing today as I left the salon! My two strand twists will soon become locs and they are looking beautiful because of her! Definitely come to her for all of your natural care needs. Also, Marissa is wonderful and fun to talk to!

I went to Salon Purity for a wash, condition, and trim of my natural 4C hair. Marissa did a wonderful job caring or my hair and scalp! She assessed my hair needs and described the products she used on my hair. I left there with clean hair, wonderfully stimulated scalp, and a couple of cute braids in a fraction of the time it takes me to do my own hair. “Wash day” got cut down to an hour start to finish. I am DEFINITELY going back for my ongoing hair & scalp care. Her salon is beautifully decorated, too. I love the live plants. I highly recommend Marissa and Salon Purity for your natural hair care needs.

Just got the most amazing haircut from her – a tapered cut where I didn’t know exactly what I wanted when I went in, but she communicated with me throughout the appointment as she cut and shaped.
