I went today and got my nails done with my stepdaughter. I told the nail tech 3 different times that I would like french acrylic nails with the tips painted blue. She then proceeded to only dip powder my nails and ended up cutting me in the process. When she wiped my blood off my finger with a cotton round, she wasn’t wearing any gloves then proceeded to take the brush from the base coat and run it over my cut and dunked that brush straight back into the bottle. Not only did I not receive what I specifically asked for but I also witnessed a major health and safety violation. She was also very distracted and was constantly on her phone and had earbuds in the entire time. Very dissappointed. My stepdaughter’s nails turned out great though because she had a different nail tech.

Great place. Miss Vivian did a wonderful job on my nails, and made sure the whole way through to keep asking and checking to make sure I liked everything she was doing. Which, after having some bad experiences the last few places I’ve been…was a lovely and much needed change. Thanks again pure nail bar!

I hated this place I went there a couple days ago and they had the worst customer service. When I got there I asked them a question the question being if they did normal powder . The receptionist said and I quote “ they should “ and then sent me to go look at colors . I found a Color I liked and then it wasn’t powder it was dip come to find out they only did dip not normal. When the lady was doing my nails I told her I wanted the nail color number 93 she decided to choose a completely different color she chose color number 98 and when I told her that was not the color I wanted she said NO . The reason she said no was because she wanted to go home . So I was highly disappointed with the neon color. She had chosen . I would not recommend at all .

I’ve been here a few times and every time I come out very happy with either a gel manicure, pedicure, or dip manicure. This is a great shop and I’ve always had a good experiences. I usually go when it isn’t busy. This is about a week out and there’s no chipping or anything. I showed her a picture off my phone and they turned out exactly how I wanted them! 🙂

DO NOT go to this place!! I kept giving them the benefit of doubt and continued going here after a few disappointing experiences, for the simple fact that there aren’t that many decent nail salons in Maryville. Well.. I’ve finally learned my lesson. I went with my sister in law to the nail salon she goes to in Knoxville and when they started removing my nails that I had gotten done at Pure Nail bar, they saw GREEN. Apparently, my old acrylic hadn’t been fully cleaned off before they put the dip on, so it created a moist air pocket, perfect for breading bacteria. Two of my nails were effected. I was told that we caught it in time and had it taken care of… but my nail will be permanently damaged until it all can grow out and be cut off. But what if I didn’t catch it in time??? Would it be full blown fungal infection? What would happen to my actual finger? And would anyone at Pure Nail bar actually care?
