I scheduled for my daughter to get a haircut and color for 11am. We arrived on time and was told that Carmen was “finishing up” and to just wait. We patiently waited. Thirty minutes go by. I was told again that she is still “finishing up”. Fifty minutes go by, I went to the counter to ask how long are we supposed to wait and was told that she’s still finishing up. I told them that we’ve been waiting for a long time and was about ready to leave and I was told, “it’s up to you”. I was so annoyed with how unprofessional they handled the situation that my daughter and I left the salon. First of all, how they set their appointments should be more realistic, because we have to set an appointment with them so they have a schedule to follow, but it needs to be understood that as customers, our time should be valued as well. It is unacceptable to have your customers wait for an hour and waste our time. Needless to say, we will not be going back to this salon

Had a scheduled appointment which is strictly stated we get charged if no show or late. We arrived five minutes early and the girl we had appointment with was with someone else. Several times throughout our 1 hour wait another girl repeated several time “oh shes almost done” We had to abandon the appointment in turn ruined my daughters chance of have the coloring she wanted for Christmas. On top of all that my son had an appointment for later in the day when we obviously didn’t show for that appointment it took her no time at all to cancel the appointment and had the audacity to send us a ten dollar invoice. I CANT SPEAK TO THE WORK THEY DO CAUSE WE NEVER GOT THAT FAR …UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE.

Critical: ValueI went in with hair that WAS VERY long. I absolutely loved my hair prior to this appointment. It is a huge part of what I identify as me.I showed Deniece Lee the picture and told her what I wanted.This is what her 11 years of experience listening to customers, and cutting their hair to their expectations got me!!!Short! Very SHORT hair.I am devastated. Her comment to me “ I should’ve cut it dry” “it looks good back here”.Prior to my appointment I asked the receptionist that I get someone who is good with long hair. I have had bad experiences where the stylist who over cut my hair because they don’t understand long hair, or I get the person who is scared to cut 4 inches off because of the length.I had 4 inches to cut off and still keep it nice and long. Got my husband’s and my daughters hair cut here by Ellie. She was very nice and asked questions to make sure she understood what we wanted. We had some undercuts we are growing out and she had helpful advice on how to. Ut the hair to help blend it. The other ladies doing hair around us sounded pleasant. I plan on going back for a cut and color myself.

I love this salon and my stylist. Everyone is friendly and nice and they are the only reason I continue to come to this salon. The reason for the 2 stars is because of the cleanliness and outdated decor. When you go to a salon you want the “relaxed, spa experience”, but whenever I get my hair washed I stare at the light covered In dust and grime. The whole place is DIRTY. It does not appear to have been cleaned in months. The doors and baseboards look dented and scratched. The whole decor of the salon is straight from the early 2000’s. I’d be willing to give them 4 stars if they dusted and cleaned the place up.
